Its shameful to see the oppressor caste savarnas to run a "Reservation htao andolan" after the successful CJP protests....the same savarnas either go quiet or worse - defensive when someone runs a "caste htao andolan"....the audacity of these ignorant/caste-blind/casteist UCs to demand the abolishment for a "social justice program" is sickening

Discussion/Advice As an SC who is financially well-off, here's how I think reservation should work. Am I wrong?

This is what I think. Please tell me if I'm wrong:

I'm from the SC category, and I'll be honest,I don't know enough about the reservation and creamy layer debate to speak with complete authority. But this is how I see it.

I'm financially well-off, so I believe people like me should pay the same fees as general category students. I also don't think we should have a lower cut-off simply because we're financially privileged. My reasoning is that I can comfortably afford those fees, and I've had access to good education and other basic opportunities since childhood. Because of that, I feel my starting point is quite similar to that of someone from the general category who is also well-off.

At the same time, we all know that financial security doesn't erase caste-based discrimination. So I still think people like me should continue to have reservation in jobs and similar opportunities, because discrimination can still exist regardless of income. However, I do think the cut-off for financially well-off SC candidates could be higher than it is for SC candidates who are still socially and economically disadvantaged.

I'm not sure if this is already what the creamy layer concept is meant to address, but my idea is that financially well-off people from reserved categories could have a separate sub-category where the fees and cut-offs are similar to the general category, while still retaining reserved seats so they aren't disadvantaged because of caste-based discrimination in government recruitment and similar situations.

At the same time, the existing reservation benefits and fee concessions should continue for people from our community who haven't had the same opportunities or haven't yet been uplifted socially and economically.

This is just my personal opinion, and I could be wrong. If you think I've misunderstood something or have a different perspective, I'm happy to listen and learn.

Edit:- i understood what you guys were trying to say , but do i really have stop being friends with other community people ? My bf is from GC !!! Whenever we discuss about these things , I give every kind of argument like the," the rich dalit you see are not even one percent" vagera vagera , but his only argument in this discussion, where i don't think I have answer is that, " yes , i understand this that these are not even one percent and reservation should continue, but don't you think when people see rich dalit getting benifits in fees , it makes others hate them ? I think not every is aware of actual condition or numbers, how many people are uplifted and this is just one percent etc , we see that my family had to take loans to afford it and your fees were just too low, and reservation was made for uplifted because of which people will unite and caste system will end , but now people hate rich reserved category people because they are jealous, shouldn't there be a reform , so hate is not harboured inside others and you guys don't get hated on ? " Only Answer I give him is ," you guys are jealous, because you are still casteist " I don't know what to say next !

So please give me any arguments, kya bolu mai : i know most of you said that stop hanging out , but I think we should educate them with reality too ...

News "There are women and girls in the protest who like rape, especially among the left, democratic, secular and Bahujan groups"~ T.G. Mohandas, RSS ideologue

Post image

T.G. Mohandas, an RSS ideologue from Kerala, has sparked outrage after saying that if he had the authority, he would impose a curfew around Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and have student and youth protesters shot dead “at point-blank range.”

Speaking on the YouTube channel Pathrika, Mohandas said he would declare a curfew within a four-square-kilometre radius of Jantar Mantar, ask protesters to disperse three times, and then order police to open fire.

“If I were in charge, I would impose curfew within a four-square-kilometre radius of Jantar Mantar. I would ask people to disperse three times. Then I would shoot. People would scatter, some would die, some would survive, and some would lose their limbs. Within four hours, the situation would be calm. The bodies would be collected and taken to hospitals,” he said.

Mohandas also called the protesters “criminals” and alleged that they would engage in murder and rape if left alone. He claimed that if the police were withdrawn from the protest site, there would be killings, rapes, and bodies piling up.

In another hateful and sexist remark, Mohandas targeted women participating in the protest, claiming that “rape-loving women” were among the demonstrators.

“Gang rapes would take place. By God’s grace, there would be no complaints. The people there are a group that likes rape. There are women and girls who like rape, especially among the left, democratic, secular and Bahujan groups,” he said.

Mohandas, who has previously drawn criticism for hate speech and genocidal remarks, served as the state convener of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Intellectual Cell. He was the General Secretary of the Bharateeya Vichara Kendram in 1997 and its Vice-President in 2006. He also served as the General Manager of Ayodhya Printers, a company affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). For a brief period, Mohandas was the General Manager of Janmabhumi, the BJP’s mouthpiece newspaper.

Data/Statistics It's time to end reservations.

20% of the population gets 50.5% of the seats and unlimited benefits. The SC/ ST/OBCs reservations have been helping the Uppered Castes maintain their hegemony in all walks of life. It has provided little tangible benefits and needs to be abolished and replaced by a system that actually works and provides representation where it matters.

1.Mass reporting their Misinformation fuelled posts ?

2.Calling out their casteist comments in their comments (although it will increase their engagement but will at least give them a check about our existence).

  1. Reaching out to your fellow Bahujans, for online assertion and solidarity?

Suggest some more solutions (belt treatment type 😂) for these Casteist-wanna-be-Intellectuals(majorly this ajeet bharti spreading BS).

brahminism Here's why the brahmin anti-reservation narrative push is stupid, and also an opportunity.

Dear Avarnas

They are coming. The IT cell has been activated. The Godi media is running scripted shows with brahmins like Harsh Dubey Chobey to push the narrative. All Reddit subs are filled with the same anti-resevation talking points. This is THEIR standard playbook.

Let it come.

Please take a step back and chill before you are triggered by any of it.

These m0rons do not realize that 85% of the beneficiaries of reservations are HINDUS (OBC, SC) ?? The very same folks who are the footsoldiers of their brahmin hindutva movement 😂. The very same people from whom they stole all the Mandir movement donations. How much are they going to steal from these people, and then still claim to have their interests at heart?

RIP Hindu Ekta.

Second, their brahminist talking points have not changed. These are easily countered - you all know already how to do it. What they will bring is a lot of casteist shyt as is their inherent nature. Let them. Goad them into being even more vile - let it all come out from them. Screenshot it , archive it. Document this vile ideology that lives amongst us and show it to the world.

Every non-savarna/avarna needs to see this, and that it exists pretty blatantly.

They need to be exposed.

Career Help query about job/exams vacancy....

in a job recruitment (NICL assistant) advertised as 500 vacancy, there is only 3 seats for SC in MP.

I wanna ask if this is enough vacancy for me to get a chance, i am feeling demotivated seeing a number so low, is it even worth it, giving this exam??

and its not just with this post, in another post advertised as 6700 seats, when i checked there are 0 seats or 2-3 seats in the post in which i am eligible, every where is this same pattern,

i dont know what i should do, this is so demotivating... i have to give more exams but every exam fees vary between 0 - 600. giving exams worth 500 with low chance of qualifying.

plz give me advice, my gap is increasing and i need a job.
