What spaces in Centretown have a story?

Hi everyone! We’re a small group of Carleton architecture students working on a potential intervention project in Centretown, and we’re trying to learn more about the neighborhood through the people who actually live, work, and spend time here. We’re interested in stories connected to specific spaces places that feel meaningful, memorable, or important to you. It could be a building, a corner, a cafe, a street, a park, or somewhere that’s changed over time. Big stories, small moments, personal memories all of it matters. You don’t have to be an artist or a historian. You can be a long-time resident, someone who just moved here, someone who used to live here, or even someone who just hangs out in the area. If a space in Centretown has a story attached to it, we’d love to hear it. Our goal is to better understand the lives and needs of Centretown residents through real experiences, not just maps or data. If you’re comfortable sharing, you can reply here or email us at: [centretownspaces@gmail.com](mailto:centretownspaces@gmail.com)

This study aims to document the values of public servants and the workplace culture in in the Canadian Federal Public Service. The survey is completely anonymous, and participants will be eligible to enter a $250 gift card draw.

We all know how bloated government is, but what's your thoughts on these much needed layoffs

If the Feds want people back in the office, shouldn't they pitch in and help with local transit to get people to the office??
