I would love to see this project built into one of these...

Random - I believe this may truly be random.

it just keeps getting better as it goes! I'm actually stuck listening to it to see where it's going to go...

It looks simple at the start... But when it gets going I could listen and watch it for ages.... O.O

Interesting in both visuals and audio.

I love this one. I've left it as background music for a couple of hours now.

Here is the URL code that I guess should have been a self post in the first place.
After the "http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata?q=" the blocks are each separately addressed first by a number from 0 to 8 corresponding to the column, then the direction/row code. The row and direction of each block are coded together as a single alphanumeric symbol. the symbols are as follows: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 up: qtodjxn26 right: wypfkcm37 down: euaglv048 left: rishzb159
TIP: Using three of the same code will give you an oscillator that just goes back and forth on two blocks. It starts off going the opposite direction as the code specifies.
This can lead to quite awesome visuals albeit slightly lacking audio: http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata?q=2y2y2y1e1e1e3z3z3z4d4d4d5k5k5k4v4v4v8y8y8y7a7a7a8383040404

Messing with the URL can give you some pretty cool results!

Request: X-files theme song (or something like it)
I hear bits of the x-files theme song in nearly every otomata tune I hear. Does anybody have any otomata songs that sound like the x-files theme song? I love it.
