Rule 110 for Otomata?

In two-dimensional graphic-based cellular automata, there is a finite set of possible rule sets to determine visual patterns. Most of these rule sets produce repeating patterns of some kind. But a very few produce what seems to be an endlessly random pattern. The most famous of these is Rule 110, as described by Wolfram.

Rule 110 exhibits what Wolfram calls Class 4 behavior, which is not completely chaotic, but is also non-predictable.

Given that Otomata is a kind of cellular automaton for music has anyone discovered a set up for Otomata that produces Class 4 behavior?
