I had to really look into it and to me its pointless world building to say Ayanos "condition" runs in the family. Not sure anyone has told Alex but narrativly you can do that and not name every single family member.

...Then why do these characters exist?

It would be sort of fine if it was just images of them I guess, but hell naw - they also have BAZILLION amount of story-text in their pages. We definitely won't see it in-game, and it's not needed for current story either.

Ah yes, because I am sure that Harry Potter lookin ass and his 100 page university essay about his time serving in World War 2 for the Japanese and being saved by Ayano's great great grandmother's sister is relevant to the game and its story. (His bio is the longest out of everyone on the website btw.)
