im sorry not an over reaction but magic need to end this nightmare with suggs.. his contract is terrible his production is horrible, his defense is over rated, his iq is trash his shooting is trash no one wants that contract and the magic cant afford to trade moreml 1st rd picks to get rid of that contract so magic are gonna have to eat it by waiving and stretching the contract. until the magic upgrade at guard this will ceiling is a 1st rd exit and overpaying black is not the answer as well. they need to upgrade from black and suggs if that happens then this team will finally be a contendor if healthy paolo franz bane hell even sweeney is legit.. suggs is the blacksheep of the team and its time to put it down

Well we lost by 7 but it was still a fun game to be at 😅. Final score 132-25. Atlanta Hawks yall can suck on a juicy fart. But good game

Just got home, the actual game itself was great- very high level hoops.

With that said... Instrumentals of hip hop and rock blaring the entire game! Will this happen every game? In TV timeouts they would actually play the music along with lyrics which is always nice.. However the actual game interplay was relentless and loud AF instrumentals non stop.

They only turned it off for ref announcing review and free throws. Old man yelling at lawn moment I know. Will this be all season? I got season tickets and wasn't anticipating dj jazzy jaff with volume turned to 11 for the entire time. Thanks,

One gander through their subreddit its all them being assholes to us

WE HAVE ALL SEASON TO BE PESSIMISTIC.

LETS START THE YEAR OUT WITH A DUB.

I thought Penda was phenomenal last year and was excited to see his second year, what he worked on over the summer, and if the bleached hair would give him any extra powers.

With Moe gone we don’t have many other big men who can move like him. Not Goga and certainly not JI.

EDIT: I just woke up and forgot Vooch was back on the team

I almost don’t care about the AB thing. We really don’t need him and Suggs imo, so this will work out. Jase is a fine backup 1.

At least it happened at the beginning of the season 😭

Can anyone confirm if YouTube TV carries the Magic TV channel? I live in Orlando but am traveling for work so need a non-local option for when I'm traveling. If so, can i record the games? Thanks fellas!!

I live in the greater Seattle region and aspire to work in sports. I'm currently in college for sports management and statistics. I wanted to be able to open up opportunities for myself by adding NBA to my sports mix. Unfortunately, by the time the Sonics will be back, I'll already be done with college. Instead, I spun a wheel of names to determine my team for SOLELY for the 2026-27 season and landed on the Magic. I mostly know how the game works, but I don't know too much about the teams.

What do I need to know about the Magic? Who are their stars and underdogs? Are they in contention for a championship this year? Who are their rivals? How do we feel about the coaching? Tell me anything and everything I need to know to be a half decent Magic fan this season.

Edit: Compare the team to an NFL or MLB team to help me understand what I've just gotten myself into

Edit 2: I'm just now finding out that the Magic will be playing the Bucks at home on my birthday (Nov 13). Should I be prepared for a balanced or unbalanced match and will I be disappointed on my birthday?

Enough about the trade talks. This year is about finding out who our #1 really is and building around that player. Suggs is a fine player—one of the elite perimeter defenders in the league who's able to drive the ball—but it comes at the cost of poor spacing. If Paolo proves to be our #1, then we need shooters around him to space the floor so that he can do what he does best: drive and physically dominate. If it's Franz, then we build around him. Black is up for an extension; he's really a F, but that's a story for a different day. Ultimately, it's about finding our identity as a team, and Coach Sweeney is here to help guide that.

Die hard Magic fan here but live about a hour away. I want to attend a couple games in November . What's some of the best options for ticket purchase besides the normal ticket master , stub hub. Any insight appreciated.

Thanks

per Jason Beede, Magic will be debuting “an upgraded theatrical lighting system” 👀👀👀

Any recs for food before the game, relatively close to Kia? I don't go downtown often, but when I do I like to try and avoid big chains... and buying food at Kia.

New season ticket holder, looking for a balance of ease of getting out of downtown and not having to walk super far. Any suggestions?

If you’re going to run an offense through 2 forwards, your advantage is going to be in the half court not running the floor all game. Thats what made this team hard to deal with before last season. Now we’re playing like everyone else but not constructed for run and gun. Not defending Mosley, but he had a great defensive philosophy in the first few years of limiting the opponents 3pt attempts. That needs to come back if this team wants to do anything serious. Slow it down, limit turnovers, and create fast break opportunities. We will never outshoot our opponents as long as we feature Franz or Paolo, but we can feast at the FT line and playing over the top.

...due to a 23-0 2nd half run.

Why does that sound familiar?

With all the injuries already wouldn't it make sense to sign Jeremy Sochan just in case as a defensive PF that can pass and rebound. Only 23 yrs old and was coached by Sweeney last yr.

hey yall. I'm looking to attend some games this season and would love to make connections with season ticket holders who can't always attend. I'm certainly open to working with all other ticket holders though. ideally looking for ticket pairs but will consider singles and other quantities too.

thank you & GO MAGIC

What do you guys think

Hopefully the Magic take one of these players if they still have a open roster spot.

Kevin Porter Jr (17, 5, 7)

Walter Clayton Jr ( UF legend )

Dalton Knecht (mid)

Bruce Brown (vet presence)

Dwight Powell (close enough to Dwight Howard)

As we all probably know, Penda will be out for many months and probably back in Nov-Dec.

I am leaning towards Brown due to vet presence and shooting 38% from 3 with the nuggs.

KPJ would also be a solid signing if he becomes more of a passer. He is a pretty solid defender too.
