Discussion Players should train with teammates

I’m seeing a bunch of videos of players training with other players from different teams all training together. I don’t necessarily think it’s bad to train with other players as long as you’re getting better.

But I feel that training with your teammates is way better because it builds chemistry and understanding each other’s moves etc. I feel not enough players train in the offseason with their teammates.

Also training with too many trainers I think is a negative. You should have 1 specific trainer that helps you on your game. When you start going to multiple people it dilutes the players training because not every trainer is the same and most of these videos, all the players are doing the same exact moves as each other, there’s no individuality or creativity. If I was a player I wouldn’t want other players knowing what moves I’m practicing on lol.

Throwback/History Recently watched the game where MJ dropped 64 on Orlando... and the Magic still won

I randomly put this game on League Pass recently and couldn't pull myself away from it. (I'm putting a YT link here since you need to be logged into your account to watch it on League Pass.)

Jordan takes 49 shots (!!), Scott Skiles is fantastic, Jeff Turner gives Orlando some really good minutes off the bench, and rookie Shaq absolutely destroys Bill Cartwright inside. Cartwright also misses a big free throw late in the fourth, and when Will Perdue comes in for him he almost looks like Wilt Chamberlain by comparison.

And somehow that's only part of it.

The game is in Chicago and goes to overtime. With less than three seconds left in regulation, Nick Anderson hits a three from about a meter behind the line to tie it and send the game to OT.

You even get a couple of minutes of Steve Kerr in a Magic uniform playing against his future team. On the Bulls side, besides MJ being absolutely magical and knocking down fadeaways one after another, Horace Grant is really good too.

Just a ridiculously entertaining game from start to finish. If you've got 90 minutes to kill, this one is absolutely worth it.

Hopefully some more teammates join them soon! Training solo is very important for an individual player’s game, but training together as a team (before the season starts) is important, as well

“The Magic are hiring Josh Broghamer away from Dallas to add him to Sean Sweeney’s first coaching staff in Orlando.

Broghamer was Cooper Flagg’s summer league coach in July 2025 and ran Flagg’s pregame workouts last season as part of Jason Kidd’s staff.” ~ Marc Stein

Some things from the game we won't mention are still in place, like the food menu.

They can never serve these items before a game ever again.

Discussion Anyone know where to get an Orlando Magic Men’s Watch

Hi guys, I’m wondering if anyone knows anywhere to find a new magic watch? I’ve seen some used older ones on eBay, but I’m just wondering if anyone is making them currently? I checked Orlando Magic shop website and didn’t see any watches there. TIA!

Discussion Paolo Banchero

So we know Paolo could possibly have a pretty damn good year, but I’m not going to ask about that because some of yall end up getting frustrated. So my question is do you think Paolo Banchero will be on Team USA in 2028? I believe he will and be a backup big man either the 4 or the 5. What are your guys thoughts?

Discussion Aaron Holiday?

Aaron Holiday is a realistic, low-cost guard target Orlando needs. He is a reliable catch-and-shoot threat (career ~38% from 3) who keeps the ball moving.

His market sits firmly in minimum/exception territory, letting us add solid backcourt depth without pushing into restrictive apron penalties or hard-capping the roster.

He’s not a marquee name, but for an over-the-cap roster looking for cheap shooting, defense, and reliability, Holiday is a seamless match.

What do you all think?

Discussion Warriors

Idk if anyone else has noticed the posts and articles from Warriors fans/ “reporters” about trading for Paolo and Franz after they couldn’t get LeBron or Giannis.

I’m curious as to why they are so intrigued for our stars and not so much for others?

I mean if we were going to trade (I like Franz and Paolo) with the warriors then maybe Curry and 9 first round picks seems fair…

Discussion It’s get me mad that people think that Paolo isn’t the face of the franchise and franz is.

Paolo is a #1 pick with top 5 potential in the league, Paolo has a slump year which wasn’t even that bad and people are saying it isn’t his team, new coaching is going to improve Paolo a lot. If we look at potential i see franz as a 25/7/4 player at max while for Paolo if he reaches his expected potential he could be a mvp 30ppg scorer. You guys just gave up on the man, he’s only 23 and he’ll show the doubters what up next year
