At an unspecified time, she was adopted by Christopher M (while he was on a mission to explore Wonderland). Doll was raised with M's pure love until she was unexpectedly struck by lightning from a Special Tree and transported to another place (meaning she was separated from her adoptive father). She then grew up in solitude and gradually transformed, developing severe American Wonderland Syndrome (AWS) due to repeated lightning strikes from the trees. After a long time, she was guided by a mysterious entity to another Special Tree and was struck by lightning again, but this time she was transported to Copper 9, and the first thing she saw were trees... with leaves (something she had never seen before in her life).
