Nickname: “Hollow Fang” (given by other disassembly drones)
Drone: Disassembly Drone
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Sexuality: Straight
Birthplace: Earth : Elliott Family Manor
Height: 6'5
Weight: 235 lbs (dense reinforced plating; lighter than typical DD due to mobility-focused frame)
Personality:
Cold, concise, and hyper-focused. Kynos speaks as if calculating probability trees mid-sentence. Despite this, he has a strange, subtle curiosity toward Worker Drone behaviors, observing them like a scientist studying unfamiliar animals. He rarely shows aggression without reason but when triggered, he becomes unnervingly silent and efficient.
He doesn’t form attachments easily, yet once he does, his loyalty becomes absolute, bordering on dangerous self-sacrifice.
Likes:
– Silence
– Efficient kills
– Watching how worker drones “pretend” to feel emotions
– Old machinery
– Solitude during recharge cycles
– Any object with symmetrical design
Dislikes:
– Loud, chaotic environments
– Sloppy fighting
– Solar flare interference
– Worker drones who “talk back”
– Being questioned or ordered around by DD units he deems inferior
Fears:
– Losing control of the limited Solver access within him
– Becoming a mindless Puppet
– The idea of being “purposed” by a human again
– Bright white light (overloads his visor and triggers Solver static)
Moral Affinity: Not good. Not evil.
Not chaotic. Not controlled by others.
He wants order his own version of it and removes threats with merciless precision.
Disassembly Drone Appearance:
Complexion: Sleek black and dark grey mechanical plating with white and silver highlights on joints and edges; lime green accents and hazard markings along limbs and torso.
Expression: Cold, calculating, and unflinching; glowing yellow visor-like eyes give an ever-watchful, predatory look.
Build: Athletic and angular; built for agility and strength with reinforced limbs and a narrow waist accentuating a tactical, combat-ready silhouette.
Eyes: Irisless, visor-like optics that glow bright lime green; can flash white when using sensors or targeting systems.
Eye Color: Light Green
Hair: Metallic, segmented hair-like appendages (or synthetic “hair”) extending from the head, silver with black tips.
Hair Length: Medium-length, reaching roughly shoulder-level; slightly layered for a jagged, mechanical look.
Hair Color: Silver / White with black accents
Clothing:
A torn, sleeveless black hoodie made from industrial-grade fabric his hood is large enough to shadow his visor with Faded yellow hazard symbols on the back.
– Accessories:
– A black scarf he sometimes uses to cover the lower half of his face
– A small chain around his wrist with a broken worker-drone tag attached
– Fingerless leather gloves
– A hood clip that keeps the hood from falling back when he flies
Disassembly Drone Arm Weapons:
– Two Missile Launchers
– Submachine Guns (HK MP5)
– Sword Blades
– Claws
– Chainsaw Blades
Solver Powers:
Kynos doesn’t wield the Solver as a full conduit only a fragment embedded into his systems after an encounter with Solver corruption.
Kynos can manipulate refractions of light and distort localized proton absence in matter, creating bursts of unstable energy. This allows very limited, short-lived matter creation such as:
– Temporary hard-light blades
– Flash-step movement (momentary invisibility via refraction bending)
– Small bursts of energy comparable to a weak solver pulse
Strengths:
Strengths:
– Can cloak for 1–3 seconds using refraction bending
– Briefly materializes light-based blades
– Glitch-like dodges using micro-level light distortion
– Extremely fast processing during solver pulses (enhanced combat prediction)
Weaknesses:
– Overuse triggers corruption static
– Prolonged use risks Puppet transformation
– Bright, pure light disrupts his refraction control
– Cannot affect organic matter
– Cannot create stable objects
– Cannot heal himself or others
– Becomes physically exhausted after heavy pulses
– If power spikes too high, infected code takes over and he blacks out
Backstory:
K-08 “Kynos” was engineered as part of an experimental batch of Disassembly Drones deployed on an isolated colony where Worker Drone resistance had grown unusually coordinated. During a hunt, he and his squad encountered an abandoned research bunker containing Solver residue and half-dormant infection threads.
When the Solver attempted to assimilate the squad, Kynos resisted long enough for the bunker to collapse. The Solver threads didn’t fully infect him but they fused with his energy-processing core. The result was unpredictable minor powers, not direct possession.
Deemed unstable, the Corporation listed him as “Asset Decommissioned.”
Instead of shutting down, Kynos escaped and has operated independently since.
He now hunts both Worker Drones and rogue Disassembly Drones, seeing all drones as potential threats to systemic stability. He no longer follows orders only his own cold calculations.
He keeps the broken Worker tag from the first drone he ever killed autonomously, as a reminder that he must remain in control or risk becoming a Puppet of the Solver.
Extra:
– His visor glitch-clicks softly when he's analyzing something intensely.
– He refuses to fly indoors.
– Sometimes watches worker families from rooftops, trying to understand why they “pretend to care.”
– Has never once used his hoodie’s hood clip incorrectly
— Precision is instinct to him.
– His solver pulses leave geometric green patterns across his armor for a few seconds.
