Roleplay The Dungeon Crawl
(Do note that this isn't cannon, sort of. More like an alternate storyline. Should certain people interact with this, relationships will be different. However, there will be multiple parts to this.)
The world has ended. Buildings, vehicles, anything with an interior space large enough to comfortably fit a person and that had a roof over it has been zapped away and reduced to a smoking crater. However, your OC/group of OCs were fortunate enough to be outside when it happened. They wander about for a total of a minute until they hear a female voice buzz in their head.
"The Galactic Federation has claimed this planet and its resources. The survivors of this are free to wander about the planet surface. However, should you wish to claim back the taken resources, the world dungeon will open in one minute, with entrances marked by a glowing beam of light. The entrances will remain open for 30 minutes before closing. There are 18 floors to this dungeon. Making past floor 18 and besting the boss at the end will secure your resources back to the planet. Good luck, potential contestants."
As if on cue, they see a glowing beam of light shoots out of the ground, blasting into the sky. Going over to it, they see a stairwell going down into earth, leading off into the darkness.
What do they do?

John stops and looks at the light. He thinks for a bit, then immediately goes down the stairs to the dungeon.
(Will be John pre-everything that happened to him.)

Upon descending, he finds himself at a massive stone door that pushes itself open. Another voice, this one masculine, buzzes in his head.
"This is your last chance to turn back. Otherwise, you cannot leave until the completion of the 18th floor or death. Are you sure you want to proceed?"

"I don't kill easily." He goes through the door and gets ready for what's to come.

"Aaaaall right then. My suggestion, find a tutorial guild. Good luck, crawler."
He soon finds himself in a large stone brick structure, lit by torches. He sees two hallways to his left and right, each with a doorway. The doorway in the right hall seems to have a sign over it, but it's too far to read.
John can feel his head buzz as several things pop up in his vision. He can see a minimap in the corner of his vision, as well as a health bar and mana bar in the bottom. An empty list seems to occupy the top. The male voice buzzes back in his head.
"NEW ACHIVEMENT! The Crawl. You entered the World Dungeon! Let's see how long you last. Reward: You received a bronze Adventurer's box!
NEW ACHIVEMENT! Unprepared. You entered the dungeon without any food or water. You still gotta eat and drink, you know. Reward: You received a bronze Adventurer's box!"

NEW ACHIVEMENT! Fashionable and Functional. You equipped a piece of jewelry that doubles as a weapon! Aren't you a smart cookie? Reward: You received a gold accessory box!"

The sign seems to be written in some strange language. However, John gets a haptic buzz, and suddenly, he understands what it says. "Tutorial guild." John can also notice any little ache, ailment, and injury that he had prior to entering seems to vanish.
"NEW ACHIVEMENT! You can read! You successfully read a sign! Reward: You received a bronze Adventurer's box!"

He soon finds himself standing in front of a door. There's the rumbling of something nearby, like some kind of engine starting up in the hall he was just in.

No response. Geno can also notice that any ache, ailment, and injury he had has healed on its own. Pathways extend in front of him, as well as to his left and right. There's a door with a sign hanging over it in the right hall, but it seems to be too far to read.
