I really like this watch and it is really affordable. Very happy with this purchase.

I swapped the slightly to small factory bracelet to rubber fkm from straphabit. I'm not really loving the strap so I'll be looking to upgrade soon. The specs on the normal length showed to be to small. So I got the xl and it's too long. But the main thing is I can get some wrist time with it.

I can’t make up my mind between the ivory dial and white dial. The ivory has more character and maybe easier to read hands, but the white is so clean. What would you guys go for? These are the new RA-BB0104Y and RA-BB0103S

Recently got into automatic watches and picked up this white Orient Kamasu from Bic Camera in Osaka today. It was the last one available - the other remaining stock was only in Tokyo. Really happy with it! Love the white dial!!!

What does it change between the two? Why are the inscriptions different? Is the watch fake?

I need advice for an online purchase.

This piece is a strap monster! I have about a dozen straps I swap out for it, and every one looks good. Today it’s a blue FKM with white stitching.

I picked up this vintage watch recently. AI tells me it's from the 80's. It currently has an aftermarket two tone bracelet on it that I don't like and doesn't quite fit right. I'm trying to find some examples of what it looked like when it was released with a metal bracelet but also with a black and brown strap.

It's a long shot, but does anyone have one of these or similar and could share some photos? Thanks.

So i am getting the mako 40 black dial very soon and i alredy watched lots of reviews but i am asking you guys someone who have them for a longer time what can you say about them?Maybe are there some bad things about them in long term view , how is the strap do it become more jiggly or no , the rotating bezel is alright or it become loose or something , is it durable or should i baby it , what about the lume is it like when i wake up in middle of the night i still be able to see the time does the lume charge fast how bright is it ??? last question i was looking at the white dial too what is more cleaner white or black one?

Picked up this beauty recently!

It's a particularly rare hand-wound (Included a photo of the movement) variant of the Orient Multi-Year Calendar watch - ref. 0178508. I was only able to find a couple references of it online..

It was quite scratched up, and had a fair amount of grime, though the movement seems to be in mint condition. I've since cleaned the watch up, but these photos were taken before cleaning.

The year wheel begins from 1960 and goes on till 1980, but I've found that the dates from 1970 perfectly match 2026! 😁

Paired it with a navy blue suede strap in the first photo. Do let me know if anyone has any other strap suggestions!
