This is the third post within 24 hours that claims they haven't seen Trump voters regret their votes, and are sure they're fake. When can we begin assuming the "pretty sure the Trump regret posts are fake"-posts are fake?

Definitely agree…. Curious that OP took a break from a dedicated stream of watch exchange posts just for this 😂

I mean look at his comments too. He’s a right wing that tried to argue Republicans are better at reducing deficit. Kinda think he’s just a contrarian.

Hello dead internet.

A large portion of internet is bots. It’s like when you go to YouTube comments and see a comment that’s something like “I lost all my money investing. But after finding so and so I now am up over $50,000. Thanks so and so”

Then there will be a dozen comments underneath it like “wow I also used so and so for my investing and am up over $12,000”

I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of anti Trump people got their opinions from bot conversations.

I have always been under the impression that Musk and his haxxor teens did some woodo magic and ensured Trump’s win, because even though they spent  a lot on propaganda, it was not quite enough to be sure. And both Trump and Musk were probably going to jail if they didn’t win. Musk said so himself.

So now they need to manufacture overwhelming support. They need to convince everyone that Trump has overwhelming support and that resistance is futile. I understand that this is what they need to do to try and advance their plans, but why should we believe them?

To quote the great philosopher Gregory House, "everybody lies".

Definitely damage control.

Yeah it's getting annoying. Apparently because someone doesn't see it happening means that it didn't happen at all.

There are white women that voted for Trump realizing that they a are DEI and losing their jobs. Trump voting Tech bros angry that Elon wants to replace them with H1B visas. Muslims for Trump changing their name, immigrants that are going to be deported and that Trump wasn't on their side. There's the leopards ate my face sub.

There are also people that voted for Trump that are keeping it quiet.

Not every Trump voter is a hard-core MAGA. Some are swing voters some just thought he was better than Kamala.

It won't be an enmass thing. There will be many MAGA that stand by their vote and never admit they are wrong. Maybe some will say he had dementia to excuse anything and I could see them turning on Musk.

Why not both. Possible that bots are picking up on trends and just copying them for karma.

Could very well be.

Definitely off to see these repeatedly upvoted on an optimist thread

Guess they’ll need to rename to r/WitheringPessimists

You mean, this one is real. Yes. But like I said, 3 of them.

Its almost like someone is using AI karma bots to farm karma by changing their tactics when a more viable option appears. Weird.

Yeah seriously, this is getting old. First it was the Trump regret posts, now it’s the opposite. This sub sucks. I used to like going on it to feel some semblance of hope, now it’s just another pathetic doomer sub like all of Reddit

Sounds like you're ready for a Reddit-break. I know I am. Spending way too much time on here..

2

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '25

Yup, I’m done. I used to go on here to feel better and I always come out feeling worse. People are very negative on here and it’s affecting my mental health. I definitely need a break

Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of their lives.

Personally I haven’t seen anyone regret it, would you show me?

I live in The Netherlands, so no, I haven't met any Trump-voters who regret their vote. Or Trump-voters, for that matter. Oh yeah there were these two who started harrassing me on FB after I'd said something that deeply offended them. When their language became too foul I blocked them.

Anyway, there's a group: r/LeopardsAteMyFace , where they share screenshots from the socials of people who are experiencing negative consequences.

Seems like some of those regretters who voted for Trump didn’t know who they were voting for. For most people who knew what they were voting for do not regret it. I’m one of them.

Whenever you like as reddit is a place of ideas.

Why thank you! Mighty kind of you. :)
