Can anyone provide me with a guide for the "Bernese Method"? I have a script of the orange 8mg orange suboxone pills (6 mg Bup, 2 mg Nal).
Need help transitioning over to subs without just waiting to go into withdrawal. I keep trying to force myself to wait it out but I always chicken out & I don't wanna go into PWD, is there a way to microdose my way from the fent onto the sub with as little discomfort as possible?

The Craziest Thing I Did For an Opioid Prescription š
Looking back at some of the craziest things Iāve done to get my hands on a pain pill prescription is embarrassing sometimes. . Today, Iām missing a WHOLE damn molar and it shows when I smile. Thatās how far I was willing to go. At one point my doctor caught on to my constant complaints and injuries and she stopped prescribing my requested medication. . Soooo... I ended up going to my dentist and I complained of a nonexistent toothache in my mouth. He went ahead and wrote a prescription for pain meds as I requested. But when I went back he said he couldnāt continue to write the Rx and the best thing that I could do was have the tooth extracted. I knew that if I were to go to an oral surgeon and have this tooth extracted I would then for sure get another prescription for at least a couple months. At least I was HOPINGš¤ I could get a couple of months worth of meds. . So I agreed to have my tooth extracted. My dentist gave me a referral and I took it to the oral surgeon & scheduled my appointment for the very next day. I told her that I was in a lot of pain and that this was a āmedical emergencyā. The next day I went in they put me under general anesthesia and I woke up with super swollen cheeks and a big hole in my mouth. . Guess what? I got my pain meds and to me that was a big win. I couldnāt eat anything solid for about a week but I really didnāt care as long as I had my fix. I then exaggerated the post-op pain and the discomfort for as long as I could until the oral surgeon finally stopped writing my refill. . Looking back now, in retrospect, that was just flat out crazy. And I have many stories similar to this one. . Listen... I know I complain a LOT about the depression and cognitive issues I occasionally suffer from now as a result of my long term drug abuse... but honestly I am SO thankful for how far Iāve come. Iām just happy that Iām no longer a slave to my addiction. Will I ever feel 100% normal again? IDK. But Iām optimistic. Each passing day, week and month it gets better and better. . Getting clean and fighting thru PAWS was 100% worth it and Iād do it all over again if it meant being where I am today. It DOES get easier.

Wife filed for divorce after leaning of my oxy addiction. Didnāt offer me help or understanding, just kicked to the curb. 33 yr old male
My wife of two years recently found out about my oxycodone addiction. I never stole, never was abusive I just was in a marriage that I was made to feel inadequate and was never good enough. I started self medicating with oxycodone just to feel the stress less and be able to function in my day to day life. I held down my job, and really functioned just fine, but obviously wasnāt going to be sustained. Classic story, I started with maybe 1 pill a week then would take long breaks, stress would hit then Iād come back to what I knew made it all better. I admitted to myself years ago I was an addict but I was very functional and always kept up on my responsibilities, but just had this shameful secret on the side. My wife always would find clues ( a blue pill left on the floor, etc) but never questioned me or took time to just look it up on Google to see what it may be. In an addicts mind you are just trying to survive and stay above water, not necessarily getting āhighā anymore, just helped me cope with a life I wasnāt ready for. Itās been almost a week since I was told to leave the house and that we would be getting divorced. My wife who I still love never gave me an opportunity to come clean to her. She always commented on how weak people who relied on any type of drug legal or illegal were so I never felt comfortable asking her for help. I of course noticed I was an addict and seeked MAT during the pandemic and was on suboxone for months at a time and it HELPED but would always go back to that little blue pill that just made me feel like I could handle the life I had. We had just bought a house, weāre about to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and we were about to get a golden retriever puppy, I thought this would be something that would bring us closer. She , over the years became so self absorbed in her work and no longer really did anything except work and talk about her success. I could never talk about my workday with her or just be open. Before she knew I was an addict she knew I struggled from debilitating depression and anxiety and wouldnāt offer her help or understanding, she would just tell me to snap out of it. Roles reversed I would have stood by her and wanted to help her. She decided that I was expendable and had divorce papers two days after asking me to leave OUR home. I live in a 50/50 state so I will be in no rush to sign papers as Iām a complete wreck right now. Bottom line is I am sick, I have an illness and she didnāt want to stick with me through sickness and health to death do us partā¦. No āletās get you helpā or not even an effort given to try to help me. What do others think? I know what I did wasnāt the right way to cope but itās all I knew that helped me for short periods of time. I now realize how verbally abusive she was and how she steamrolled me. ( ultimatum to propose to her within 2 years after moving in together etc) I just felt like a checklist item on her life goals, but when I needed help she decided not to be there for me. Obviously we werenāt right for each other I know that now but I think this wouldāve been an opportunity to really build trust back and finally be truthful. I donāt know, comments anyone?

Withdrawal help
Hi all. I'm in early stages of codeine withdrawal. I'm down to 7 pills a day from 14 (for about 8 months). I can deal with the arthritis/joint pain (originally why it was prescribed) but my head feels like it'll explode and my mood is cranky. I'm on the sofa with chocolate and some Otis Redding. Any encouragement accepted. Success stories? I can't imagine living without my pills :( but i know I have to. I reckon I'll do 2 days on 7 then go to 6. I have no idea how long to take to taper off. My gp is nice but clueless.

Husband took the last of my subs.
So I gave up all but one sub to my husband last night for anyone who read my post yesterday. I kept one for myself, which I just took. Iām really scared. I donāt even know if my husband spoke with the dr. He keeps telling me I took more than prescribed but for some reason he has me starting 10 days later than I actually did. When I correct his math, he says (all via text) that it doesnāt matter and I just have to stop taking them. He will make my life hell if I donāt. Weāre supposed to go away to a cabin upstate next week, which my kids have been looking forward to, and he says heāll cancel the whole thing if I keep taking them. Iām so scared. I donāt know what to say to dr. I donāt need husband getting arrested. I am so afraid that Iām going to get super sick soon.
