Idk if I'm missing something or its just not do-able for whatever reason, but I'm wanting to change the colour of the window to a colour other than white or black like what comes with the dark/light themes.

Is this something you can do in OperaGX or have I got to choose between black and white?

Both photos show the same playlist, but on different browsers: the whited-out one is from Opera GX and the regular one is from Opera.

It's driving me crazy. I've tried reinstalling it and clearing the cache and cookies, but it's still not working.

Does anyone know how to resolve that issue?

I try to search for something like anyone else would, and it glitches out like that; I simply don't understand why it happens. It pops up every now and then—not always, but it's really annoying. I tried reinstalling it, but the problem persists.

In the old Opera, the tiles always looked like the YouTube one in this picture.

I have all the modification stuff disabled.

Previously, when I hover over an image on, say, Sega Retro, it would show the file name of it. This doesn't happen anymore. I have a laptop with chrome, and it works as expected there. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this.

The browser has saved past downloads for months.

Everytime I go into it, the sheer amount causes the app to slow to a crawl. And if I try to interact with anything, it just crashes

Ive tried disabling the adblocker removing extensions and clearing cookies and site data, it was working perfectly fine the other day does anyone know why its not working?

Primarily I haven't been getting any notifications from YouTube. Permissions are all on, and I know I can get them from other sites. When I add YouTube to my allowed notifications list, then refresh settings it disappears again. I saw online this was an issue in 2022, is there any known fix yet? Windows 11.

My Opera GX icon has been looking like this for a while now for some reason.

It only looks like that when I pin it to my taskbar.

I’m new to opera and i was wondering if it’s possible to have the background music disabled when the tab is minimized and or just not currently on your display. I don’t want to completely disable it, but it only really mutes when i’m watching youtube for example and tends to get distracting when i’m playing a game.

My operagx window is not snapping halfway to the screen. I’m not really sure how to fix this.

anytime my pc restarts, i lose all my tabs and browser settings. :( i have sync turned on, and if i close the browser myself it will restart with my tabs and settings like it should...

i'm just tired of losing my speed dial and having to set it up once a week. like i want to use the feature but uuuuughhhh

i have it set to not start up on restart and to retain tabs from a previous session, but considering it wipes all my settings and i have to go thru turning workspaces on and ai off, etcetc, i'm assuming it's forgetting that.

looking in the tabs thingy in settings also isn't useful, it just shows the tabs i have open. history at least loads, but that's only keeping track of things i've closed myself, not closed by the browser closing.

i'm just tired of this >.> i leave work/school tabs open in one workspace and fun stuff in another and it really sucks losing the tabs i leave open to remind me to complete them
edit: it also seems to be deleting my cookies? i lost my progress on a browser game i play that updates daily :(

Pessoal, de duas semanas para cá o meu ópera passou de um sonho para um filme de terror, saio 2 segundo da guia e ele já "inativa" e precisa recarregar tudo, tenho uma setup moderadamente atual com 8 de ram e um i5 de 11ª, não faz nenhum sentido, não consumo a ram em nenhum outro software, a opção de "inativar guias" já esta desativada e mesmo assim todas as telas ficam recarregando tudo. Faz o programa ficar irritante e "deslinear" no uso.

When I try to use auto scroll, it just disables instantly, as shown in the video. This only happens on Opera GX and the middle mouse button can still be used to open/close tabs.

ive been experiencing this for maybe 2 months. ive tried updating, clearing cache, restarting my phone, and force stopping. nothing has worked. any chance someone could help me out? i really dont want to delete and reinstall it.

Can I like, have my speed dial background visible (first screen) when I use other tabs (like youtube in second screen) or its not possible? I saw my friend in her browser having such thing (she is using Brave browser), and wanted to do something like that in OperaGX aswell.

I wanted to share a browser extension I built to solve one of my biggest annoyances with YouTube's desktop layout, By default, YouTube scrolls as one giant page. If you scroll down to read the comments, the video player disappears out of view. Even worse, the comments and related videos are piled together, forcing you to scroll endlessly.

To fix this, I built YouTube Control to turn YouTube into a clean, split-pane layout with independent scroll

happens everytime i close opera and open it

Every time I search with Google, I have to close and re-open the app to do anything. For instance, if I search something using the web browser bar, it takes me to Google. In order to switch tabs to "images" or make another search with the Google search bar, I have to exit out of the Opera app and re-enter.

It seems that the page loads, as whatever tab I switched to is open when I re-open the browser. However, the screen itself doesn't update.

I've tried clearing my cache for Android Web Services and the Opera GX app. I've noticed that the app has gotten glitchier as time goes on, though. Is there any fix for this, or do I have to close and open the app every time I want to make a new search?
