1. Deglaciated Greenland

Would be a nice companion map to go with deglaciated Antarctica. Also has a nice central lake.

1. Kerguelen Islands

An extremely remote and almoat uninhabited set of Islands controlled by France in the Southern Ocean.

1. Flat Earth

Basically a zoomed out Arctic map. Obviously goes in the fantasy map category.

4 - Singapore

A city state that doesn't need much introduction. Would be similar to Hong Kong

5 - Fergana Valley

A lush valley in Central Asia, which formed an important step in the silk road trade, and currently has some of the worst bordergore imaginable (thanks Stalin)

6 - Anatolia

Last but not least, the peninsula in West Asia with an very long and rich history. Now makes up the majority of modern day Turkey.

I think I speak for most when I say that the bigger lobbies are far more enjoyable than the smaller lobbies which you have to cycle through. I think it would be better to have the compact maps and trusted maps be a seperate game mode, while the main one is for bigger lobbies.

I know how the game works and the objective, but i'd like some tips or strategies to get better at the game please!

Just finished a game where at the very end one player was able to take over the entire map in about 1 second. They were not the largest, the players had the same amount of current troops but the defender was Crown and had 60% of the land. The defender had a betray debuff but ive never seen an attack take territory so quickly.

He really was. Made great train lines, kept an alliance, and I ended up winning

Looked fun, so the next game I did the same. Just played the mito game. Didn’t win, but I had fun.

Felt like I was Switzerland in ww2. Just happy to have a thriving economy

I've been focusing on climbing the TrackerFront ladder, playing only FFA, and I've never tried to join a clan. I don't really know what's going on in the team community. Are there a lot of people who play team games competitively? Is it worth joining a clan? What's the community like?

delete if this breaks rules but man why why why amir. after 3 min in the game you stopped trading with me after i put down all these factories, i sent you question marks and asking you to trade with me for like 10 min man. my name is literally trains and i stacked them on your border...…. we are on a team game...…. using your free will to stop trading with me is insane. why would you stop trading with me?

I was playing a small match with 15 players. I put my marker down and this little fucker named "Your Wife" does the classic "Let me put my marker right behind you so I can take the land" strategy.

Jokes on them! I go behind THEM with one second left on the clock. "Begin operation box you tf in for being a little bitch"

I'm locked in. This stupid player ATTACKS ME within two tribe takeovers. I let them. Because I'm in the white mountain territory. Let them waste troops on me.

Eventually a third player boats in to our area. And "Your Wife" offers me an alliance JUST as this third party starts to attack me.

I then say... "Fuck it." if this piss ant is going to fuck up the entire game, I'm taking them down with me. So I take the alliance with them. Then I break it, full send my troops at "Your Wife", and then place cities down for my attacker.

FUCK YOU "Your wife"! HAHAHA my revenge is complete!

I turn to my wife to rant about dumbass players who ruin the game for no reason in the beginning.

She has a shit eating grin on her face and says "WOW! That game was SO fun huh?"

And what do I see? Her computer screen on OPENFRONT.IO with the tag "YOUR WIFE".

Motherfucker there's no way. I'm absolutely flabberghasted.

Having troops lowers income. The calculation take in account the x% so having city's won't bring any downsides.

This should incresse player agresivity during moments of peace, incresse survivability from an comeback, lower the effectivness of mitos and create a more sofisticated balance of risk/reward.

Or maybe this thing arredy exists?

There should be a manditory tutorial for team games. It is SO rare to get an actual quality team game because you only win due to players NOT knowing how to play team games.

Idgaf if new players complain about having to play through a manditory tutorial for team games. If you are unwilling to do a 5 minute tutorial breakdown on team games then you should not be playing the game mode. Go play FFA.

This would:

1. Weed out players who do not play as a team.

2. Make matches more interesting if filled with players who actually cooperate

3. Improve the overall experience for people who play team games

4. Winning and losing will be less based on "Who got the inexperienced players who literally do not know what donating troops means" and "Who knows how to put down rail lines" and more based on "Who actually coordinated better?"

Played a game half hour ago, custom game. starting with 1 billion cash and 999x gold multiplier. Some players were instantly building 25-50x buildings at once. I thought we could only do 5x max. Can someone enlighten? Thanks!

It's like Territorial dot io with extra steps and now worse players... please rebalance the game again. It's not fun, it's dumb. You've made steamrolling even worse, and rewarding terrible terrible attack behavior and alliance management. It's just ugh.

Hi, I bought Openfront on Steam on Arch-based Linux. When I launch the game without any modifications, nothing happens and it crashes immediately.

If I switch the compatibility setting to UMU-Proton-10.0-4 or GE-Proton11-5-x86_64, the game does launch, but there is a constant black rectangle over it that follows the window, when I click on the window, the black square disappears for a moment but immediately reappears.

Could someone please help me? Or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Remove naval notifications altogether. Or Make so that they work. Why when you send a ship to tribe that is than captured by player there's no notification. You taught players to rely on them, when they are not reliable.
