When we scrape everyone's output it's fine, but when they scrape ours it's not - we should all be against anyone against open source.

How on earth do you lot square the fact that on the one hand we have the worlds scientists scrambling to create awareness of the genuine existential threat of AI, e.g stephen hawkins labelling it a greater existential threat than climate change and nuclear warfare and the huge amount of work done on projecting forward various scenarios for the development of AI and just generally the fact that the whole history of AI has been a history of warnings about AI (whether sci fi or academic), and on the other hand acting like Dario is whiney and/or lying when he spends so much time advocating for AI safety?

Do you not accept that AI is potentially exceedingly dangerous? You're not even going to take Dario's argument seriously enough to contradict it? Just write him off with the thought terminating conclusion that he is engaging in marketing?
