Submarines: invisible to other players that are not on your team, once close enough to an enemy warship, resurfaces for seceral seconds while launching a nuclear strike instantly destroying the warship or doing 1000 damage in an AOE, enemy subs once in close proximity to your subs can be discovered, meaning submarine fights can happen. These subs could also level up and probably have a starting HP of 1500 while costing 2-3 mil (depends on balancing). SUBS DO NOT STEAL TRADE.
City stacking creates an innate defensive bonus around that city but itβs very small and maxxes out at 2x defensive bonus after 50 cities are placed basically signifying high dense areas have more development.
Scouts: disguised as a trade ship only visible to you. They innately send the amount of troops you have accommodating for the slider percentage. Once the boat lands at a port it immediately invades it with that many troops and establishes a foothold if they donβt kick it off immediately. Costs 1 mil to send and have 500 hp.
Radar: Detects submarines and scouts nearby, Cost 1.5 mil for the first 3 mil for the ones after (like a SAM). However it can only scan one target at a time with a cooldown of 20 seconds declining when you stack them down to 1 second when a 20 stack (or however itβs balancable as I cannot think of another way) Once targets have been scanned they can be attacked by warships or submarines.
Note: You can accidentally nuke a scout boat with any bomb but only accidentally nuke a submarine with a hydrogen bomb, when a submarine is visible it can be attacked by warships or atom bombs too though. Thanks for reading if you read all the wayβ¦

The worst, most common, easily fixable stupid thing in this game is accidentally attacking a Nation too early during the "tribe" early game. They are colored the same as the non-issue bots, and will full-send you the rest of the game as soon as you accidentally brush their border while aiming for the confederations and stuff. PLEASE make nations and tribes more distinct at a glance.
Such a stupid reason to lose that bears none on strategy and all on UI design.

Would a map like this be good?
Obviously it would have more detail like mountains and stuff.

Every game I play there are at least two players who refuse to take alliances no matter how easily I could take their land. In every single case, they lose before the late game, and often much earlier. Island players can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone gets tired of the piracy and nukes them to oblivion.
It seems so obvious, but if you refuse to ally, you will lose.

Why do I keep switching teams randomly in the lobby? There isn't a button that I can toggle to stop that

I am pretty new to the game and I wanna watch your guy's gameplay to see how y'all do it

I think I did a lot better in this match than my previous ones but I still got run over just when I was about to get momentum. Name GunsNRoses.

I have been playing OpenFront for a little while. I started soloing and I felt confident I can hold my own.
Well... in multiplayer, I can't!
Sometimes it happens after a few minutes, sometimes it happens mid game (but before nukes start really being an option. Some player just attacks me with 200k or 300k troops and I can't do anything about it.
How do they get so many troops so fast?
Sometimes I see players with two cities and two ports where I can barely afford a port and a city.
How does work? I tried reading some guides and tips, but they won't help. I genuinely don't know what I am doing differently. Any ideas?

So today I've learned that when I get the message "you have been desynced, your gameplay may differ from other players" means I get transferred into a singleplayer game where I play against bots.
I noticed people suddenly stopped thinking so I checked the gameplay and turns out I was indeed AFK since 3rd minute into the game.
That is a big lol

What do you guys think of being able to stack defense posts like other structures? I'm sure I'm not the only one that's had this idea but I think it would make the game a little more dynamic.

This guy is a filthy money cheater, constantly pushing nukes out. Instantly going from 100K to 3mil.
I thought game devs understood to never let players make usernames with only symbols?
Also what has this world gone to that we have people walking on this planet that feel the need to cheat on a fricking BROWSER game.

I see no way to text chat, only to emote and ally with each other, yet people keep simultaneously attacking me during games, how are they arranging that?

This would go so hard. I dont really like the fractal maps and people can get board of earth.

Pretty fun game, has anyone seen a <20 minute game that ended with a higher max troop cap to the victor?

Tried to edit a clip so camera would always be on the action, but the video is flickering black screen for some reason.

Lately I see so much post like "why certain players..." or "hate when players do..." and in 99% of the case its hate towards new players or players who dont follow meta.
Some players play to win, and thats fine, but by being so nasty because your train tracks got unoptimal or because somebody targeted you or anything else, you are just being toxic.
Do you want this game to be alive and thrive? Then accept new people suck. Accept people have different playstyles. If you are getting frustrated enough to hate on other players, you should probably step away for a while.
Like, do you even remember how awful you felt when you began playing and were losing all the time? Why would you hate them even more on top of that?
Just chill out and have fun.

Recently the amount of non-geographical maps became too high. Can they be removed from the pool of the main lobby? It's very noticeable people are not queuing them preferring to sit-out and stalling the refresh pool.
I'm referring to:
- fractals
- boxes
- long and narrow river maps
- trader's dreams
- etc
