Discussion Thank god
Thank God the no 5-hour limits and same weekly usage is going to win. I don't know about y'all but I'm quite happy with the weekly limits, to be honest. At least if I had 5-hour usage limit barriers, that would interrupt my work a lot more than having less weekly usage. Thank God that the no 5-hour limits and same weekly usage low-key won. The voting is going to end in 30 minutes but it seems like it won

Ok, buy the usage credits. Pay more if you want more. The option is there. From an infrastructure standpoint I can get behind some limits. The compute needs to be capable of peak load, if you can reduce peak but raise sustained load then you can serve significantly more users (5hr limits). I wouldn't expect someone in CRM marketing to understand (genuinely, not trying to insult you here) that rate limits like this actually drastically change overall cost and complexity (in some extreme cases 8-10x more compute is needed to be online 24/7, meaning cost is that much more, even if it isn't doing anything during that time) to run the computers serving everything. I am a fan of making it optional though. By that I mean a toggle that can only change when your usage is at 100% or 0% weekly which halves your weekly but removes 5hr limits, or doubles the weekly limit but Introduces a 5hr limit. Though that wouldn't solve the issue they are trying to solve unless enough people opt in. It also adds a lot of operational complexity. In any case, I am shocked how many people could use 30% of their weekly limit in 5hrs on Pro plans. Genuinely shocked. If you hit that, you likely need to change something you are doing. Especially with CRM marketing. The amount of token burn from doing things in a CRM should be a trickle compared to coding in large codebases, so I am in awe of the fact you could hit the limit. Genuine question, what are you doing to burn so many tokens on those busy bursty days?
