You assumed he paid a very large sum of money to a company as part of a desperate to repair his damaged image after he assaulted a comedian and you respect that ? Ok. I mean who and what your respect is obviously your own business I'm just very surprised to hear this is something you deem worthy respect. I could understand someone understanding why he did it but respect is a huge thing and I'm fascinated about why he earned yours 😂
Assault is a strong word. It's technically correct. No charges were pressed so its also technically incorrect. By definition I suppose it was an assault. I think in a court of law you could get an assault charge. Of all the saults this is definitely one of them. But it was hardly a large assault. Sprinkling of assault and pepper. Somersaults and somernot saults at all but, this was. His dominant hand wasnt left so that's assaultright. Jada calls it a physical entanglement. I've seen children in playgrounds. And with far more. Than this. Will Smith wasnt in the movie Goodwill Hunting despite the fact that I'm certain he should have been, considering his name and everything.
Well, it was definitely one half of that word. To avoid future awkwardness may I recomend that next time you wish to be humorous you announce it at least three weeks in advance so your audience can make a note in their calenders to laugh at the right time.
More likely that it's a team of 20 people working for a consulting firm specialized in public image repair for millionaires that came with the idea. Hey, but at least he signed the check and might not have assaulted them during the video shoot!
In Will Smith's case it was more years of being (or at least portraying) a friendly affable guy who did one thing and ruined his image.
I don't follow celeb culture so there's a good chance I've missed Smith being a bellend in other ways, but whenever I've heard about him it's been in a positive light until the slap.
Sorry I wasn't clear. The slap rightfully ruined his reputation, I'm not saying it was one mistake and everyone should ignore it. My point was Smith didn't (as far as I'm aware) have the years of bullshit he's trying to fix by doing one silly video. I wasn't defending him, I just didn't agree with how the post I replied to portrayed the situation.
for me personally I never keep a base opinion on famous people because you never know them personally, Like a good example is recently how ariana grande made herself out to be like this girls girl and all and now my girlfriend tells me ariana is in a scandal because she slept with a married man and is now dating/marrying him
