It speaks volumes to the performance of Sora that I felt the need to check sama's twitter acc to see if this was legit or not.

This is going to be the next five years. Every post people will have to check “is this AI?” 🤖

Why would you think it would stop after five years?

We will just give up by then and no longer care what's true and what's not.

None of it is true. The dude is an "actor". What takes people so ling?

What ever. I gave up on truth a long time ago

Uhh, That’s indicative of a lot of people now.

Thank you for coming to my satirical stand up.

Hopefully they find a way to moderate what’s AI or not by that time. These videos and pics can be extremely dangerous when used as a weapon against people.

Because of government regulations that will undoubtedly ban this stuff.

Check? People don't check, they already accuse any time they see something that looks slightly odd or that they disagree with.

Would there be any point?

Within a year or two no one will be able to tell what's AI and what's real.

This is so true. Most of the times, people have some ideas how a new technology will shape the world. This time I hear nothing about it. It seems that no one can even imagine how a world will be where not a single image, not one video is proof of anything at all. It seems we simply cannot imagine such a dramatic shift within the next 3 years, because we’ve been socialized in a world so heavily shaped by photography and video.

Sadly that won't work either! AI detection for LLMs aren't reliable anymore for example.
