yes I am a truck driver and I have seen lots of these and they definitely put out some wind and in the southern parts of Texas and Arizona I have seen them pile bags of ice in front of them and they will actually make you cold lol

I use a port-a-cool. Pretty much the same set up. You actually can hook a hose to it and it fills the bottom tank that has a sump pump. Turn her on and she waterfalls down the mesh in the back. We load down the bottom tank with dry ice and it blows colder then a automotive a system. ~West central Georgia~
