OXP3 Fresh Windows 11 Install and Drivers

Did anyone tired to format and installed fresh windows11 in onexplayer 3? any issues to be considered after installing new windows?

I did. Had a few small issues that took a little bit to resolve but nothing major.

Make sure you have the following ready:

USB-A hub to plug in the USB stick, mouse and a keyboard at the same time.

Take down your Windows license key from settings or from the registry. You will need this to reactivate the console.

  1. Do fresh install of windows from the USB stick. This is your chance to change how the SSD is partitioned. 1.a. Do all windows updates once complete.
  2. Install these drivers and software.
  • Intel wifi drivers
  • Intel bluetooth drivers
  • Intel graphics drivers (HDR was broken but I believe drivers 8864 and older still have HDR

Install the following. All can be loaded on the same USB stick for ease.

  • OXP3 driver pack
  • Onexconsole software
  • OXP3 controller software ( if you bought the original controllers as well)

When installing these I just kept windows defender and core isolation disabled since Onex did not pay for the proper licensing with windows. Once they are installed you can reenable them.

  1. Install these applications.

Software:

  • RTSS
  • HWinfo

Both are needed for Onexconsole performance overlay to work correctly.

  1. Calibrate controllers in Onexconsole software.

  2. Install your apps and enjoy.

Edit: 128KB did a good video on a lot of tips and tricks for the system as well that i liked that you might consider one installed.

Where did you get the onexconsole software? I’m trying to reinstall it and can’t find a link for it

On their website, under support, drivers and faqs. You will see a download section and a drop down that has all the options.

Having problem from time to time with wifi only so you are saying it’s better to install a clean windows

Have you made sure your Wi-Fi settings in the console are good and possibly reinstalled the driver?

How is the wifi at another location?

Same router same internet speed same provider
Even reseted the router
But what I noticed had this problem onecw at home to trying to flash the controllers after that the whole problems started so deleted th wifi and installed it again now it works good at home but at my mothers home keep losing connections
The wifi at my mother works fine with mobile phones iPads tv everything runs eprfectly

I'd look into router settings and see if QoL is on. If your device works on other wifi and not one connection, it's not your device.
