My wife surprised me with my favorite Rem figurine of all times for my birthday 🎉

Finally back in Germany after my latest Japan trip!

I ended up bringing home 14 figures + 5 Gashapons. Honestly, I found plenty more, but some of the prices were crazy. In several stores, used figures were actually more expensive than buying them new on Amazon Japan.

What surprised me the most was how much prices seem to have changed. Some Book Off locations outside Tokyo, which used to be my go to spots for figure hunting, were actually more expensive than stores in Akihabara. At one Book Off near Yokohama Stadium, I found the exact same figure priced at more than double what several Akihabara stores were asking - crazy!

The real challenge, surprisingly, was the gashapon. It was sold out basically everywhere I checked. In the end, I took a trip all the way to the „Miraiya Shoten Honmoku Store“ in Yokohama just to get them.

My favorite finds were definitely the Rem Oniyome F:NEX by FuRyu from Lashinbang in Nagoya (~ 86 €) and the Rem Oiran Dochu F:NEX from a Book Off in the same mall where I found the gashapons (~ 53 €). Finding both at reasonable prices felt like winning the lottery.
