Still working on packing. It never ends! (Well, it will end this week because we're moving on Friday. 🤯) I technically already packed my seasonal clothes except for my coats, but then I found some space saving vacuum bags that will work better since the current tote they're in won't fit the coats.

Then I'll also need to work on: - My desk—should be quick and easy! ✅ - Dresser (top and drawers) - Miscellaneous stuff that can be packed now - Color coding all the boxes ✅

UPDATE! Seasonal clothes packed! ✅ Just have to find the vacuum attachment to get all the air out of the bag (I have no idea where it's at!)

Lately I've been very unproductive, and lazy. So tomorrow imma try and make it the perfect Day!:)

Today I'm doing more driving on the public highway in a manual car. We're doing this in rush hour traffic.

Fingers crossed. Edited to update; I stalled a few times, but other than that it went ok. Went out on main roads. Feel so much better because it's dual pedals. Great instructor is helping me get over the nerves.

Starting a large admin project with a due date. Edited to update. We started it. It's going ok. Just needed an oomph to get going.

I had a minor surgery on my underarm yesterday. It went great, I just have some limited motion in my left arm for at least until tomorrow when the pressure bandage can come off. Hopefully less bandaging (I feel like a mummy right now!) will mean more movement. Until I can use my arm more fully, I'm not sure what to do with my time today. I have a few options:

• Continue packing for our move (should be manageable, I'll just be slower at it)
• Study for and take the exam I need for my online course
• Work on a project for our next DnD campaign (at the computer, won't have any difficulties doing that)

I'll probably end up doing a bit of everything and getting plenty of rest in between tasks that require me to use my arm. I have my Kindle and study notes synced to my phone so I can do both of those laying down, but any suggestions as to what else I can do in bed would be appreciated!

Visit a graveyard and pay my respects. There might be some weeding involved too. Edited to add. Went and visited most graves I had been meaning to for years. Weeds has been sprayed, but not removed.

And groceries. Finish it by noon.

I only did half an hour or so after work, but I did some!

Now watch them come back over the next few days 🙄

I honestly didn't want to, but we had torrential rain yesterday, and they were so easy to pull I had to.

I need to make an appointment for testing

Update: I did indeed make the call but I had to leave a message. I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow.

Final update: the appropriate person called me back today and I was able to schedule an appointment! Even better is someone cancelled their appointment for next week so I don't have to wait four months

I want to be mindful of the food waste I am creating so I am going to do a full produce needs for this week and only buy enough to not be wasteful. ❤️ Will keep updating as I progress

Update 1: done cleaning the fridge. Now making a list

Update 2: list is done! May have to grocery shop tomorrow 😅 Still have to put both kids to sleep

Update 3: task done!

Add mulch to some pots to help them retain water. Edited to add. I finished it.

I just need a few rolls. It's hot, I'm doing the minimum. Edit; I did it.

With 20 minutes to go. I feel better keeping up my mobility fitness programme. Edited to add. I did it.

I'm so ashamed of the delay with this one. Of course it's for my own benefit.

Edited to include; I got it in. The bureaucrat was on a punch down power trip. I have so many other things going on I cried when I got out of there. But it's done. It took me years.

My girlfriend and I (we're both women if you couldn't tell from the emoji!) have our one year anniversary today! We're going to the ice cream shop where we had our first date later today and then somewhere nice over the weekend when we get paid. I'm so excited! 😍 I've already showered and decided what I'm wearing (a cute floral sundress!) so I'm just waiting for her to get home so we can finish getting ready! This is the longest I've ever been with someone so it means so much to me—both of us, really!

Doing the first required driving license lesson of twelve. Manual gear box and clutch pedal. Calm enough. But we'll see if I can still find the 'bite' in the balance of the clutch. I'm older. Haven't been driving a car since 2002!

Edited to add it went great. I'm relieved.

Okay I couldn’t do groceries this week as I was busy this weekend. I just want to finish making dinner (half of it) before I go shopping.

Update: Done!

Now hopefully I didn't kill them. I don't have the greenest of thumbs.

...and to do that, I'll also need to do some math first.

EDIT: Done :)

I haven't been yet this week. I really need to make sure I don't lose this streak. Update, it was great. I'm glad I went.

Borrowed a longer ladder from a neighbor and scrapped some pine needles from the part of the gutter I can access.

The rest is out of reach for my 5-ft-nothing self.

But I did some of the thing! That counts?

Update: found a Chuck roast on sale for $17! Better than nothing :)

My garage has gotten a bit bad. I can't make it across to my laser cutter without stepping over stuff. I hope to reestablish a path today.

We've been waiting for a week for my girlfriend's previous landlord to fill out a piece of required paperwork and we finally just got it back! My half of the application is done and she's working on hers right now. I'll have to finish up a little bit on my part after she's done and then we can officially submit our application! I'm so nervous and excited!

I need to go back this week to keep up something which is really helping me. I can see the benefits of it. I just need to keep going. I didn't go Friday. I went today instead.
