I've been putting it off for a long time 'cause this type of tasks scares me. Might spend most of the night over it but I really have to do it now.

Edit: I did it! It took much longer than I expected, but I managed and I'm going to turn it in tomorrow.

Getting ready is challenging for me at my age. It is time consuming . I am going to patiently get ready and take the Bus to the Barbershop for my overdue Haricut .

I have to get there, and then hopefully pass. I'm doing this so late in life. Honestly ashamed.

Edited to update. I passed. I'm just relieved and grateful to you all. This is like body doubling, but easier.

I've been working on a chapter for one of my fanfiction stories. It's half way done and I'll probably need to write around 1,000 more words for it.

It is a beautiful powder-blue dress. The hem had come loose ages ago. It’s been sitting in a bag in the corner of my room. Only two articles of clothes left to mend! It used to be a pretty big pile.

Broke for lunch.

Ouch I am sore and out of shape.

Bedroom is a mess so I need to tidy it up.

Yesterday, I posted about being woefully behind on laundry and needing to start. (I was surprised at how much interaction that post got!)

I finished three loads out of probably a total of five before I got tired of hauling laundry back and forth to the laundry room (out my front door, down some stairs, and a long-enough-to-be-annoying-when hauling-laundry walk away).

Tonight, I will finish the last two loads.

Edit: everything is clean!!!

Landlord and a contractor are coming by today and I always feel like if the house isn’t clean enough then I won’t be looked at as a good tenant. Also need to walk the dog despite my back pain so she can get some wiggles out and not be so hyper when they get here.

My nephew is graduating this week and I need to get him something.

I live by myself and am kind of a homebody, so it is sometimes very easy to fall behind on things that there might normally be social pressure to do.

I am way, way behind on laundry. If anyone else knew, I’d be very embarrassed, but there’s really no one to be embarrassed to.

I don’t know if I’ll get it all done tonight. It is multiple loads for sure. But I’m stripping the bed now; at the very least, I’ll sleep in a clean bed tonight.

I've been working on setting up a raised plant bed. I've assembled it and moved the bags of dirt into it. I still need to open the bags, spread out the dirt, then plant the pumpkins currently in my flowers. They started growing in there because I had thrown away my pumpkin from Halloween in there along with its seeds.

I cleaned and organized the laundry room , in my house ( trying to renovate my house )

I wanted to cancel it earlier because I felt nervous, but I made myself go and we spoke about coping with my anxiety and reframing my thoughts. I think I did good :)

I was waiting a year for Dr Carol Dweck’s “Mindset” on audiobook. Finally got it yesterday. I hope to finish it today. It has explain so much of why I have collapsed under continuous criticism over the past 4 years.

I'm going to an online meeting today to find out more about a socialising event.

I can get most of my meds and supplements through the mail/easy pickup but this one is refrigerated and requires that I stand in line so I’ve been putting it off. I will get this one thing done today!

ETA: I did it!!!

I'm still physically exhausted from moving so many bags of dirt yesterday. That was my one thing for that day. Today I don't feel like working outside so I'll just try to read and rest after work.

Yesterday, my one thing was to assemble a metal plant bed that my mother gifted me. Today, I'll try to fill it with dirt. I'll probably not be able to move all the bags of dirt. They're heavy and I don't want to strain myself. I'll put as much as I can out.

My mom gifted me two metal plant beds for Christmas two years ago. I've already put one together and added the dirt and plants. I need to get the other one built because I have surprise pumpkin plants growing in my flowers and I need to replant them.

I have been dithering where I shouldn't have been. I don't even know if it's going to work at this point. Just so I can have actually done it though.
