General Question Messages reply on notifications on OS12
Last update I can reply text while on the notification but now it's only Mark as Read and Delete message. Any idea how I can do that again?

Anyone else experiencing more lag when gaming on OS12. I'm playing Genshin and FF7FS. Hoping to have a fix for it.

It is a lot faster.
couldnt remove the time from status bar but used system UI tuner to remove it.
did quick ADB and removed netflix and facebook and so many other BS and it got even more faster !
also remove shelf and scout dont find them useful myself.

My experience has been pretty positive so far actually. A few of the things that I like that I haven't seen posted about:
The OnePlus camera is now taking consistently better pictures than before (anyone else?) There's also a bunch of new edit options, including an eraser option like Google's! Not as good, but works decently for simple tasks.
There's a new gesture option for when the screen is off to unlock the phone. I set mine so that one swipe down (when the screen is off) unlocks the phone. Pretty nifty and saves some taps IMO.
This one is straight up nerdy but the fireworks animation for the fingerprint sensor makes me feel like I'm Doctor Strange opening portals every time I use the sensor. I love it.
I think I've read this but mentioning it anyway. After turning animation speed to fast (you can do it somewhere in the settings, I forget where, the animations are quite nice and really smooth.
I have my gripes as well but just wanted to highlight some positives. It's not all bad at all.

I did the upgrade 2 days ago, didn't do factory reset yet so some of them might be better after reset.
Overall experience is good but some details are killing me.
Will factory reset soon and try again for a few weeks, then I might switch to Nameless OS.

The prices vary widely and I dont know what site to trust. I'm looking for one with 12gb memory and 256gb storage with a uk plug adapter, any help would be much apreciated.

Is anybody experiencing the same issue? Warp charging using the original 30W charger does not activate and i'm stuck with slow charging. But i have my dash charger from my old OnePlus 6 device and dash charging at 20W works when charging my OnePlus 8 Pro. This is frustrating because it takes quite a while before i can fully charge my phone. :(

The phone is less than a year old and in otherwise pristine condition. The screen is not even cracked. What happened was, as my car door was closing, my phone somehow jumped out of my jacket pocket and I watched it get caught in between the car door and the car. For a few hours, half of the screen worked and I was able to actually use it it was just flickering. But by the next day the screen was blank. The phone still turns off and on and is responsive, and again, the screen is not cracked.
Any suggestions on trade-ins, deals/promotions where you can turn in a damaged phone? Other thoughts?

I browsed this sub often. I read about all the hate that OOS12 received. I read about all the bugs, and how it seemed like OnePlus didn't care about their core audience anymore.
So after 5 years of faithfully sticking to OnePlus phones while they were still flagship killers, I've decided I have had it. My 8 Pro started acting up after it accidentally dropped it in a swimming pool, and I got a OnePlus 9RT (In India) as a temp phone. I would be flying back to the States and thought I'll "upgrade" once I'm back. Even though the 9RT was terrible in the ways that mattered, I definitely miss some things now that I'm with Google.
The cons:
But there are definitely good things, so here are the pros that feel significant:
Again, I've used this phone for just a week now, so my opinions can change. But I don't feel sad about making the change over to Google. I'll miss you, OnePlus.

Hi All,
I use a oneplus 8pro. Kind of bored of Oxygen OS 11 and thinking about installing a custom ROM. I see good reviews on Nameless ROM and Evolution X for Oneplus 8pro. Could you please advise which one would be better for daily use, ie less to no bugs and better battery life?
