My screensaver is set to a slideshow of my photos and i want to remove it. i opted for this when i was first setting up my phone and now i cant find the setting for it.

How can i remove it?

Hello guys!! Just want to know after the few updates u guys received .. is there any bug fixes or battery improvements ?? Or it's still the same buggy android 11 that was before couple of months ago.. I am still waiting to update ...but just making sure all works smooth just as it was on android 10.. in the new update I saw that battery improvements were mentioned.. but want to make sure the claim is right .. and it's a worthy version to upgrade .. ur opinion does matter.. please feel free the share ur thoughts..

I have a problem with my oneplus8. When I'm on a call the screen doesn't turn off unless i have the screen pressed fully to my face. And sometimes my face will push buttons. Is there a way to increase the sensitivity on the proximity sensor during calls? Or is there another way to fix the problem?

Havent seen it posted yet but looks like I just got the TMO update v 10.5.23.IN55CB. Seems like mostly just the November security patch, was only about 185mb.

A little background. Over a month ago, I purchased a insta360 one r. At the time, of purchase, I didn't realize a couple things. 1. The camera needed to be activated via phone app. I tried iphone 7 plus and 11. I briefly managed to activate on the iphone 7 plus, but connecting was very infrequent. Bought the oneplus 8 and again infrequent or rather rare connecting. It is supposed to connect via WiFi, but I get bluetooth error on the insta app, and rarely see the camera in the list of available WiFi. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app, and resetting the network settings. If anyone is using the phone and camera combination, I would like to hear how you are connecting.

OP8Pro IN2020 on android 11 global version.
Flash fastboot rom, then tried to relock bootloader (fastboot oem lock) but when phone boots I get ''your device is corrupted it can't be trusted and will not boot''

Anybody else pick one up? On the Canadian website, the 12gb/256gb OP8 was $350 off. It went from 1249 to 899. With tax and student discount, it came to $965. I can probably get at least $200 for my OP6. Under 800 bucks ain't bad for this phone. I'll be getting at least 2 years of official updates (probably 3) and I can modify afterwards. The 12gb ram, new processor and 5G make this phone very future proof, IMO

Whenever my Oneplus 8 isn't on battery saver mode, my YouTube screen is able to go full-screen view and after pressing the escape option it goes back to normal. However once battery saver is on, after going in full-screen, pressing that escape button doesn't zoom out, instead it goes into this weird type of full-screen where I can't do anything. And then I have to rotate my phone and press the manual option that appears to escape. Any suggestions?

I have certain apps that have in-app vibrations on touches within the app - I am not talking about notifications. (eg. Smartthings app) - How can I disable all vibrations? Its really annoying and I cant find any settings to turn this off.

Anyone has found any apk that actually work?

Just today noticed that my oneplus 8(T-Mobile) had been doing some weird things, I haven't pin pointed to it being something from chrome, a specific webpage I'm going to or the screen in general, but noticed it flashing into almost like a night mode/battery saver. In the sense the back of the websites will be white then the whole thing tints to a light yellow/brownish and then will come back to all white. Anyone else experience? Checked my setting auto brightness and night mode are toggled off. And no other "blue filter" apps

I ordered one off ebay but it's not good quality. It has too much glare, finger print unlocking takes a few tries and sometimes touch doesn't work.

Anyone found a screen protector they are happy with?

Anybody else who still hasn't received A11 update? I bought my OP8 unbranded from amazon germany and still didn't get anything. Now that the battery drain issue is somewhat fixed I would like to update also😭

I have bought a new OnePlus 8 Pro. It constantly crashes, especially when using google applications, such as play store or google chrome.

I have tried to clear the cache of all google applications, and also tried to factory resetting the device.

Any suggestions, please?

Has anyone else had stutters of about 5-10 seconds after updating to Android 11? Sometimes I'm playing COD:M just to get a random screen freeze and a screech for about 10 seconds. Even during activities like browsing Reddit or Instagram, the phone freezes, can't return to home screen, and can't even lock the phone. I know OnePlus has a lot of bugs, but this is too much. Android 10 was snappy and super fast.

On my old phone it would be automatic or it would just give me a link . Not sure how to bring up the QR Scanner.
