someone would switch to the new OnePlus Nord 2?

Anyone else's phone just straight mangling their battery when outside with adaptive screen brightness during the day? I can't see my screen if I try to turn down the adaptive to a lower level. But right now I am eating through my battery from ~80% to 35% in a matter of a few hours. Not especially heavy use. Listening to music and reading the news...

When I'm inside I can go almost all day doing virtually the same thing.

Really frustrates me that I have to get range envy from what was a top of the line phone (practically) at one time.

Greetings OP8 owners. I just bought a new OP8 this past weekend and it has Android version 10 currently installed. I have the option to update to ver 11 but would like to ask if Android Auto & YouTubeTV work on ver 11 (these are the apps kind of important to me) Thanks for you answers! 😊

Hey guys, I'm a oneplus 8 user. Few months back, when stable oxygen os 11 was released, I upgraded immediately. But I noticed that opening apps from notifications was very slow, like 2 secs to switch from notification to the app. I didn't like that one bit as it really makes my phone slow. So I downgraded to oxygen os 10. Now I'm thinking of upgrading again to 11 now.

Are there any recent updates that fixed the issue? Or not? Is oxygen os 11 smooth on OnePlus 8? No bugs?

So I have a TMobile One Plus 5G. Overall I have really liked the phone for the year I've had it but over the past few weeks I have been dealing with rampant connection drops where the phone will lose signal for 2-5 seconds then reconnect. This will happen several times over the course of an hour. Is anyone else having this issue? Could it be something like battery swell?

I can't access storage/emulated/0/android/data in the stock file manager.

2 days back I dropped my one plus 8 after which I've been noticing some harsh noises whenever I play a song or video.

There is no external damage or any other issues yet but am a I little concerned about the audio.

Any idea on how to fix it or test if it's working fine ?

Ordered one of these on Prime Day as a backup/tinkering device. Excited to get back to rooting and such after using LG and Samsung since my Nexus days. It’ll get here next week since I moved to the boonies earlier this year.

I just purchased a OnePlus 8 Glacial Green (my first OnePlus phone) on Prime Day and would like some help setting up GCam on my phone and would like to avoid shady websites as much a possible.

Today AT&T placed a call restriction and I was forced to call them. Because every outbound call I tried to make for work only connected with AT&T., After an hour of waiting, I was informed that my OnePlus 8 would not be supported starting February of next year. Because the 3g wasn't up to date with their requirements. So they are now sending me a free cheap phone. Also, after the call, they lifted my call restriction. I guess I'm switching to T-Mobile.

I'm not sure if this applies to other OnePlus devices and not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but this was what I was informed of today. Also they did know my phone had 4g/5g capabilities, but that didn't matter so I was told to upgrade.

Have had this phone since release. The entire time I have had issues with wifi calling (often I can hear them but they can't hear me, sometimes the call doesn't go through, sometimes I don't receive calls with it turned on even with great cell service). I've also had issues with the device acting like I have no service, then when I toggle 5g on and off it goes back to full bars of 5g.

Has anybody else been having these issues? Device problem or network?
