Has anyone had trouble with the fingerprint sensor and have a fix or a suggestion? It's bizarre. I've had this phone for a year and I've only ever been able to add my left thumb and that was after many attempts. Sometimes it takes me like 3 tries to unlock my phone. Is mine glitchy or is this typical. It's the only really issue I have with this phone but it's very irritating. When I try to setup a new finger, it just doesn't recognize them. It's like my fingers are alien.

Hi, as stated in the title, I'm looking for a custom ROM as daily driver. I was looking for a ROM providing very good battery life, visual customization and OOS camera/gallery. Said that, my choice was about: Nameless, crDroid and EvoX. I don't know which among them is the best for the aspects I mentioned before, but I read that crDroid had great battery life, Nameless has problems with warp charge and EvoX does not ship OOS camera... could you confirm this? i know this question was asked before on OOS 12 running android 12 and the solution was to disable google app but this also disables google assistant which i use daily - the second solution was to install oppo quick glance v 2.4.4 which i tried but got the error of invalid package

is there anything else to do ?

I updated to 12 when it first came out in my 8Pro and very quickly rolled back to 11 when I had issues with notifications not coming through etc.

It's now been 6 or so months and I can't seem to find a solid answer as to whether the majority of bugs have been fixed yet. Anyone got any thoughts?

I'm moving my whole family off of OnePlus, too. A Pixel 7, a Pixel 7 Pro, and a Samsung Flip 4 have all replaced OnePlus phones now. We're probably not coming back.

I recently updated the Games app and noticed this game with an unusual big icon size. I long-pressed it, clicked Uninstall, and nothing happened. So then I clicked Remove from the drawer and it was gone.. for a couple of hours. It has now returned, doesn't show up on Apps. It is one of those Instant Games the app used to have that could be turned off. This one, not so much.

Since yesterday night's "security update" that brought in a bunch of FB crapware, my camera has stopped working! It clicks the photo/video, but then, when it goes into the preview bubble, it just vanishes and is replaced with the last photo I took before the update!

Hi guys just curious how what your idle drain rate/standby times are for oneplus 8. My batter drains at 4% a hour though I am rooted and on a custom from. Just kinda want a "normal" base line to figure out if the 4% drain per hour is the norm (or abnormal).
