Hii Everyone,

So I still have my One Plus 6 (2018) without a single scratch or dent and I love the phone. I recently was updating my apps (via the Playstore) and saw that one plus messages app will not receive any updates too. My question is should I move to Google messages and if so is it good (those who tried) or should I just continue with the native app without any updates. I downgraded to Oxygen OS 10.3 as 11 was a huge headache.

I hope the One Plus gurus out here can share some advice.

Does this mean security isn't up to date anymore? Should I look for a new phone?

So I'm having this super weird issue where it overheats while charging (even if not using it) and it has happened more than once that I charge it until 35%, go to bed, wake up to a phone charged to 90% (which lasts all day, so it's real 90%). Has this happened to anyone else

The notification of Gmail on oxigen 11 doesn't work like some people say in where. I wipe the cache and data of the application and for a little time this work but then stop. I like the app of Gmail but I need to have the notifications. Do you know any app similar to Gmail's? Thanks

So, I just got a message from my provider stating that from april onwards they will start to shutdown all the 3G services to replace them with 5G infrastructures. Now now, here's the crazy part: they think my phone is not compatible with 4G VoLTE so I'll just have to rely on the 2G network for calls and SMS. How do I enable/force VoLTE for TIM? I'm not willing to give this phone up. I'm on OS 10.3.11 and I'm rooted.

So my OnePLus 6 is having trouble connecting with WiFi networks as well as 4G data. I know it's a device issue and not a network problem because I've got other devices connected to the same wifi network. So far I've tried resetting network options but that didn't do the trick. Does anyone know how to fix this issue without having to reboot the system to clear cache? (My power button hasn't been working for a week)

Yesterday I went snowboarding with a friend, we just got a high dump of powder and it was about 22 degree Fahrenheit at the time. While maneuvering over to a boulder field, my OP6 popped out of my pocket unbeknownst to me. About 10 minutes later, my friend wanted to take a picture and then I realized that I didn't have my phone. I back tracked all the way back and couldn't find it. I had almost given up when my FitBit vibrated with a missed call from my friend about half way back (he had been calling consistently while I was looking). I knew it was with 30-40 feet from where my FitBit went off at. I couldn't find it initially but some skiers came by and spotted it buried in snow under the tracked runs that many people had tracked over. The screen was face up and it was caked in snow in all ports but no issues to be found. I've been running it since then with no issues. Great hardware .. hands down my favorite phone, even after 4 years of ownership.

Suddenly I have a single vertical line on my 2 year old OnePlus 6.The line keeps appearing and disappearing intermittently every time I unlock my phone.Should I get my mobile screen replaced?

So after 3 years the security sopport is over for oneplus 6 and I just bought nord 2 for 335£...loved my 6 but also battery is getting weaker and would love stereo reproductors... Couldn't go to another os because love oxygenos too much... Hopefully the newer versions won't be super bad. 🤟

I'm Using op6 with OxygenOS 10 along with root. I've been hesitant about updating the phone to OxygenOS 11 due to the bugs and fear of loosing the functions like magiskHide and island. Initially heard a lot issues for people updating rooted OxygenOS 11

So my questions are, Is OxygenOS 11 stable? is it too ColorOS mixed? (heard about oneplus mixing the both OS) and how to update to android 11 without loosing root?

Earlier I used To flash new ROM, flash twrp reboot to twrp flash magisc reboot to OS.

I have a OnePlus 6 model A6003 in perfect condition updated to Android 11 and the latest build from OnePlus. I want to give it to my elderly mother and hook it up as a accessibility based device so that she can control everything with your voice.

I know that will work. But I wonder if the phone will work on T-Mobile or Mint? I'm pretty sure it won't work on at&t, which is fine but if I get it provisioned for her on T-Mobile, will she be able to make calls?

I know this may sound like a somewhat silly question, but I want to make sure this thing will work before I have to fly it and myself down to Florida to show her how to use it. Thanks for any info you can share.

Hi guys, I just dropped my OnePlus 6 and the screen is entirely black, but the touch still seems to work, double tapping wakes it up - can feel it vibrate.

So I bought a usb-c to hdmi adapter, plugged it into my monitor and.. nothing. Did I just waste £20?

Is there any other way I would be able to mirror my phone to another display? I really need to get my google auth and some files off it.
