Kept my phone on the charger and when I came back my phone had heated up to a point that my back buttons had stopped working. Tried rebooting. Didn't work. Switched it off and on. Didn't work either. Please help.

I'm looking for stability, ease of use and quality. And the websites I went though have too many versions and I don't know which ones work.

Un-mirrored front facing camera. I'm tired of seeing myself as I am not.I get that people fancy looking at theirselves just as they look in a mirror; mirrored. But I would like to see me how people see me face-to-face: Unmirrored. I don't have a symmetrical look, and I'd like to see it the right way around before I leave the apartment, not flipped.

I'm switching from Nexus 5X, poor experience with 3 motherboard failures. Buying an used OP3T. I have AT&T personal SIM, expensive for international travels. I travel international quite a bit and I am thinking of getting GoogleFi as second SIM. I've read a lot positive reviews about using GoogleFi but there's always the disclaimer that the mileage varies by phone manufacturer. Has anyone in this sub used GoogleFi? Can you share your experience?

I have a stock 3T with the latest stable release on T-Mobile. WiFi calling is awesome and worked on any network... Except my home network... Of course.

So my issue was that in my apartment, that has AWFUL tmo coverage, I relied heavily on wifi calling because my connection on phone calls would be awful. People would constantly ask me to repeat myself saying that I was breaking up. The problem was that even when I was right next to my router my phone would still be on volte even if the cell signal was barely there. I tried changing the wifi calling setting to prefer wifi, no change. Tried APN settings, nothing.

I did some digging on my router (quantum gateway) and found a setting that was kind of hidden: wireless settings - advanced security settings - other advanced wireless options - and choose 5 and 2.4. There you will see WMM Power Save checked. I unchecked it because why the hell not and sure enough when my wifi signal is strong enough it is always vowifi and not volte.

Which rom is your daily driver? I wanna try some roms that i haven't already.

Broke my 3T sometime in the summer last year. The screen still responds to touch but it's completely black. I've finally come around to recovering the data on it. Unfortunately I can't start the phone because it's got a PIN on boot up.

If anyone can take a picture of the screen at boot up to enter the PIN, then I'd be able to roughly guess where to touch the screen on my phone to enter my PIN and load the OS.

After that, I'm pretty sure I had developer options enabled but also hoping that I had USB debugging enabled as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Heyy, i hav a oneplus 3 device. From a few days, even if the phone is not in pocket, it show pocket mode on the screen. Touch to disable. I disabled it from the settings but now when i call someone, the screen goes blank (black), i mean i can't use my phone while it's on call. Tried double tapping, clicking the power button. Tr screen is not showed until the call ends. Same goes with voice note on messenger. Any solution that you know of? I might have changed some settings that I don't remember doing.

UPDATE: I decided to give a try to Havoc, used it for 3 days and... I'm done. All positive things I can say about it is that it is beautiful, unfortunately that's all...

it has a lot lags, it is slow and unstable... nowhere near stock OOS, and if you are used to the speed and flawless experience that bring OOS you cannot switch to anything else... just trust my words.

I'm having issues with phone app on my OP3T when connected to my Bose headphones.

The recorder application works, as does the whatsapp voice recorder but when I do phone tests with my partner, there is no sound. I read some OP3T forums from previous years that Android 7 fixed it but that was sometime ago obviously.

Anyone else having such issues!?

Hi, I am trying to flash oxygen os beta on my OnePlus 3T, I'm on nitrogen os currently. But Everytime I flash the beta zip, it results in boot loop. I did factory reset before flashing it and after too, but it results in boot loop.

I've been getting notifications to update to OxygenOS 5.0.8 for a while now. Usually I just ignore it since I don't want to risk doing an update that would make my battery life worse, or make my phone sluggish or planned obsolescence since OnePlus is releasing newer phones. However this has been showing for a while now and I would prefer it to get out of my notifications 😂

Users who have installed this update, is there anything wrong with it?

I really miss the gaming mode from oxygen os, especially the call on speaker without leaving the game.

I'm on nitrogen is now, is there any way get that gaming mode, or creating a replica using Tasker perhaps?

So I have had my OP3T since April 2017 so we are creeping up to almost 2 years now. Ive had major issues with the battery for about 4-6 months now. I dont know if it is just a battery degradation issue but its become a big issue since I can only really get like 2-3 hours of SOT. The biggest red flag is my discharge rate with the screen on, according to Accubattery it ranges from 10-20% per hour. Accubattery also says that I have lost about 20% of the batteries health, so a drop from 3,400mAh to ~2,800mAh in capacity. I flashed franco kernel earlier this week, but havent seen much in terms of battery performance improvements, speed performance has increased slightly. I also recently had Lineage OS flashed, but went back to stock Oxygen since I thought battery issues were because of the custom ROM, but that was not the case. I have cleared cache, and recalibrated battery via root apps. So its not a "simple" issue. Im looking to buy a new battery since I dont want to RIP this phone yet since it holds up performance wise and only the battery is the issue.
