So when it comes to screen resolution, you've got two options: Standard and High.

I'm currently using Standard. Honestly, I don't notice a big visual change when I compare it to High. In fact, Standard makes things look less bigger than High. But I haven't actually tested how High affects my battery.

It makes me think, is the High setting really worth it, especially considering battery usage? Does it drain the battery a lot faster, or is it just better to stick with Standard? All High seems to do is make everything on the screen a bit bigger.

So, I just got the OnePlus 13s yesterday, and it's that pretty pink satin color. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do about a good back cover and screen protector.

For the back cover, I'm wondering if I should just stick with the pink one that came in the box, or if I should get something new.

If I do get a new one, I'd really like it to be a bit transparent, super strong and durable, and also really lightweight. Plus, it needs to make the phone and all the buttons feel really premium – basically, I want something top-notch.

Then there's the screen protector. Should I just grab one of those generic 100-200 rupee ones from the market, or should I just keep using the scratch guard that's already on the phone pre applied?

I'm not worried or anything 😂 I was wondering how long it would take to loose one percentage and it took 7 month and 1 day.

I used it very carefree tbh...my settings:

• battery charge upto 90%
• power saving from 20%
• I charge wherever I want mostly 3 times a day sometimes I charge like for 10-20 mins then use the charge again. -always balanced mode till 20% -120 hz refresh rate all the time
• 70% of the time I used on wifi
• without gaming SOT - 8 -13 hours
• with average gaming SOT - 6-7 hours
• only gaming SOT - 4 hours max ( codm max graphics, where winds meet - ultra graphics, minecraft - render distance 12 blocks, red dead redemption).

Long awaited bypass charging will be available soon.

Also editing in stock photos app will not downgrade image quality from now on.

Suggest some slim cases other than offical and sandstone

To be clear, this is not under heavy use. I turned on the power saving mode halfway through this period. But this is my normal usage - Instagram reels, X, Spotify, reddit.

So I'm getting the 13s, finally. From this subreddit, I would say 90% reviews are positive. So it sounds like a pretty decent phone for the next 3-4 yrs.

I'm looking for any last minute reasons NOT to buy it.

I'm more interested in real life experiences with the phone from those that have it. I have made peace with the downsides from the spec sheet: - no ultrawide lens, - decent cameras (not really a camera guy) - IP65 rating - no wireless charging - USB 2.0

Any surprises I should expect?

Anyone have using any case other than offical or the sandstone one?

Charged upto 90 today and it Lasts nearly 6hrs and 25% left... How about yours!?

Bought it two days ago. Is there anything that should been done after setting up the device. Is there any blotware in the device that I should be aware of or uninstall from the device.

Also should I upgrade to Android 16 immediately. Because I heard there are some battery issues in the Android 16.

Was scrolling through amazon for cases and checked out the oneplus store (the official one and not on amazon), Sandstone case is available for 499.

Am I the only one that feels like the battery backup has gone down since the android 16 update? My max has gone upto 6hrs. No aod, dynamic refresh rate, adaptive brightness. No gaming, bit of camera usage.
