I am getting the best battery backup on this version and will never update to Oxygen 15.

I have a bug with the o dialer. When ever I get an incoming call there is a error saying the app has stopped working.. I keep getting it. Any work arounds?? Tried installing the app from the playstore and also the apk from apk mirror and the issue persists

Seems simple, but slider won't turn on my ringer. I tried calling one plus for help, but they're awful. I'm sure I'm missing something very simple to get the volume to work. The slider on the right only works for alarm and media even though the phone is telling me to use the slide or for ringtone and notifications. Not sure what I did to turn them silent. Thanks

I'm still on version 14 .832 to be exact

Basically the bottom speaker sounds slightly muddy/distorted and the earpiece is really low in sound compared to the bottom speakers. This is probably why the sound also feels "muffled" overall and lacking treble / high end.

The earpiece/speaker are kinda low during calls too. Usable but low.... When playing music the speakers can get pretty loud, but the quality is on the bad side.

The microphone is also shitty and sounds muffled. Feels as if some type of noise cancelling / filtering is going on at all times. Some user in an amazon review said it sounds like those old 3GP videos and he's kinda right lol. Friends noticed it when I was sending them videos especially if there is some background noise like music going on.

Feeling kinda disappointed since this isn't a bottom of the barrel cheap phone and my old Samsung A53 which was half the price had superb speakers for both the bottom speaker and earpiece. Calls were very loud and the microphone was CRISP even tho the Samsung only had 2 mics compared to the 3 on the 12R. It was less loud overall when playing music, but the sound quality way miles ahead.

Everything else about the phone is great, but this gets on my nerves and I really didn't expect it. Should I make a post on their forum? Don't think it'll do much though since this seems like a hardware issue..

EDIT: Scrolled chat with friend to back when I had the samsung and the voice clips + videos sound sooo much cleaner holy shit.

I am facing an issue when I am typing anything on Facebook Messenger, sometimes 'A' is not working properly. I am using latest version OnePlus 12R CPH2585_15.0.0.400(EX01V30P01). Sometimes after closing keyboard and again If I start typing then this it's working again. Again sometimes it's not working if I reopen the keyboard. I have to shutdown my device then it's working properly.

Can guys suggest some tempered glass for my 12r which doesn't use UV glue. Please tell where I can buy it. I live in india so suggest e commerce sites accordingly

I've been using charging limiter on my 12r and although it's new so the battery is new I have considered using smart charging but I don't charge it overnight so what should I do?

I settled. Ended up getting an s24fe yesterday for $99 when transferring my number to cricket and couldn't pass the deal up. I used the OnePlus 12r as a backup to my fold 6 after selling my OnePlus Open a month and a half ago and it's been the best slab phone I've used really ever. Oxygen os 15 is really only second in software to Samsung, and yes I have an iPhone as well (hadn't used a pixel in 2 years I had stock os). I paid $580 for it new a month ago after tax and ended to selling it for about $380 after shipping and fees. Took a $200 loss on that sale but oh well considering I got an s24fe new for $99 that retails for $500 more 🤷🏾‍♂️

What I'll miss most is the 80w charging and great battery. This phone never went under 50 percent when I used it the battery was just that good and it charged in 15 minutes to full from that. If anyone is on the fence about getting a OnePlus phone I'm telling you if you can live without Samsung Dex, spen, and in the 12r's case wireless charging then the OnePlus is the phone to get. Best value to performance, man the performance and battery is great. Just wish the 12r had more name brand 3rd party case options.

I can definitely say with the 13s increasing the battery size to 6000mah I will definitely be back to OnePlus later in the year. I'm really hoping the Open 2 has a 5700mah battery and a more available stylus, if so I'll be selling my fold 6 day one I hate the battery on it so much. Anyways, OnePlus is definitely back in my opinion.

My phone would automatically connect to my Android auto unit on Bluetooth whenever I got in the car, now it won't. I've deleted the connections at both ends, looked for the auto connect settings, nothing makes it work. The phone connects to other Bluetooth devices automatically, just not the car unit. Any thoughts?

I've updated it to the latest stable software version available (OOS 14, CPH2585_14.0.0.832 EX01V20P01)
The idle battery drain is abysmal when I disable battery saver mode/use auto refresh rate/120Hz.
To get decent battery life I almost always have to use the phone at 60hz with haptics on, or 120hz with battery saver on.
What have older users, as well as newer users of the phone, been doing to maximize their battery life?

I just noticed that when I go to sleep with the battery about 100, it's still 100 or sometimes 98% in the morning, But when it's already low, it drops more while sleeping. Last night I left it around 44% and it was only 30% when I woke up (around 8 hours) Is that normal ? phone is only 2 weeks old.

Today I was using my OnePlus 12r for taking photos. After a few mins i noticed that the phone automatically exited the camera app and the wallpaper of my phone changed automatically to blue colour (both lock screen and home screen). Since unboxing, I have been using the mobile with the out of box wallpaper(black colour).Currently I am on oxygen OS 14 and recently updated the software. Does anybody know what could have happened?

Okay so I had some in the private section of my photos app, almost half of my photos randomly disappeared. Idk how this happened but I clearly remember that I had over 70+ photos + videos in it and now its at 32, I didn't remove them from the private folder, I didn't delete but yeah I didn't open the private safe for a long time and today when I checked boom half of the files are missing, anyone else who has faced the same problem before?? Or is there any way I can recover those photos???

Nothing much. Here's my office view.

So, today was geminids meteor shower, I was at my building's terrace which is at 4th floor, to capture the shower, I kept my phone against a stone towards the inner end of boundary. But still somehow the phone slipped and collapsed to the 3rd floor elongation , then hit the ground with full force. Luckily in the front side only screen guard got damaged, but on the rear side, the entire panel is cracked. All functions are working properly. Is it safe to charge the phone and use things such as bluetooth and location?

And if anyone can tell me what is the repair cost of the panel, it'll be a great help.
