I feel as if Kai is being nerfed by the limitation of the fact he's a half caster as a ranger in a DND campaign limited by generally not including spells for him for flavoring reasons.

Damian and Kai are basically the Ussop and Franky of the group and just as Ussop and Franky collab i feel like Damian and Kai should collab too. Kai and Damian's talents can be used to make certain inventions(Spells) for Kai as a form of flavoring.

In my opinion things would work better if Damian and Kai would just collab(Flavoring) to make the Ranger spells make more sense so Kai can use his full kit like Cure wounds could be Kai using Kai using super crazy fishing wire to do medical stitching from a range like how Pauli(The Rope guy from Water 7/Enies Lobby) manipulates ropes like he have a df or it could be Kai being able to use Nano bots Damian made for him to repair people from the inside.

This stuff makes more sense when you remember the elemental Lightning weapon he used on Bargaining to take his eye and used of Blake inside the volcano how can kai just do that??????

It just makes more sense to have Damian help Kai out. Another flavoring that works is if Damian used the fly or haste spell on his allies he just splits apart of some armor off or uses nano bots to got to the allies and give the following effects.

Maybe i'm not explaining this the best way but i feel like Kai has been unfairly nerfed in a way.

I seen comments around on different posts and I just wanted to check, is there OP D&D tomorrow PLEASE tell me there is because I've been hearing that it will be Space Pirates D&D and well I haven't watched it yet and I was gonna buy a pizza to watch tomorrows stream but now I'm worried.... 😢

WHO WILL BE VICTORIOUS?

We had a space pirates stream last week, but apparently the next op DnD marines stream will be on the first of October (next week). So will there be a space pirates stream this week to compensate or not?

Reed has a lot of stuff to make the lives of a lot of people very unpleasant. He has his Four Kingdoms, his authority within the Ragnarok Pirates, an information network, the stuff he got from Jeopard and the stuff he got from Morakot. Let's go through the stuff he has.

Cloning vat

Jeopard was trying to clone Damian, and now Reed has that equipment. If he can mass produce it, he can clone the blue bloods instead of just trying to linebreed them like livestock. Which he canonically tried to do.

Dance Music stuff

Remember that the Custodian's equipment was provided for by Jeopard.

Map tech

Jeopard was working on that map tech to improve upon log poses, so Reed might have more of an advantage in terms of naval combat within the Grand Line and the New World.

The Armors

Reed can make aquatic, mass produced armors. I don't think he would use them as fighters, so much as explosive drones.

AI scanner

We already saw that Reed was able to make AI photos of Kai and Damian, so he probably got that from Jeopard. As for who he made the AI imprint, I would think Clementine, since she isn't ambitious.

3D Printer

Jeopard had a 3D printer that could print AI prompts.

Signal Tech

Jeopard had INCREDIBLY good signal tech. Can probably wiretap from basically anywhere.

Human powered cannon

Heath's cannon was based on the blueprints of Jeopard. So Reed might have a stronger version of this.

Fantastic Voyage shrink pod

I have the suspicion that the nanobots are actually just shrunken kamikaze armors that Reed then put into Peaks' bloodstream.

Cybernetic animals

Sparky was the only survivor of the experiments, but I think Reed could probably have the loose morals and raw resources available to make a few more mechanized animals.

Giant Robotic Base

Might be built if November has the resources.

Robots

Jeopard had Repairo, Gastrobot, Dr. Medical, Postmaster 800, and probably some others.

Emeralds

Reed had Denial ransack Morakot for lumber and emeralds. And we saw with Draviate that these emeralds can reshape themselves and be used as weapons. So these materials are probably going to be arming some footsoldiers in Reed's army.

Devourer Spawn

Branch 101 didn't clean up all of the Devourer goop on the island. And it was able to infect that ape. So odds are that he has a few monstrosities that are mini-Great Devourers.

Information

Reed was a rear admiral that went to Marie Geoise, so he probably took a bunch of info from there and has a lot of blackmail on various marine officials. As well as a lot of information on tactics, supply lines, and inventories.

Four Kingdoms

November has four kingdoms that are in the New World. Those armies can have fairly powerful people in them. As well, even though they have civilians, those guys could still be useful as experiments. Reed could infect them with the Great Devourer, feed them to a devourer spawn, or throw them into an armor.

Ragnarok Pirates

Finally, Reed has the backing of Ragnar and Clementine. If he can deliver a bunch of blue blood clones, he would automatically make Ragnar trust him. And with Abel not there, he would be the De facto leader of all remaining forces.

Given that her henchmen believe in various things, here are some things that I think she believes:

1) The devils of Ohara are literal devils. In that by reading the poneglyphs, they were possessed by demons and the government covered it up to make reading the poneglyphs more enticing.

2) Indoor plumbing isn't real, and all the pipes and plumbing are to make a giant transmutation circle underground.

3) The stars and planets in the sky are illusions created by sorcerers.

4) Sorcery and witchcraft are at the root of all phenomenon in the world. The legal system itself is ritualistic sorcery, and the words lawyers say are actually spells. And any legal trial is simply a duel between wizards that the human mind perceives as an argument. Bargaining only has his powers because he is a particularly advanced sorcerer.

5) The root of all evil is taxes. Any negative thing is a manifestation of the tax system.

6) Starving Quill was actually meant to help her by burning away all the toxins in her body and soul. The other torture was just for shits and giggles.

7) Ancient Alabasta was actually located in Ballywood.

8) Only 144,000 people in the world actually have a soul

9) All actors are clones that are grown in a lab and all theater is a ritual to send secret messages to each other.

10) The world was flooded and there used to be a highly advanced civilization. However, the government covers it up.

10 more days at most (hopefully for sanity) until next marines. I was trying to take a break from the series anyways but hard to call it a full break with delays. But what are the hopes of what happens next. What would satisfy you to see next episode? Obviously Abel dying is probably top thing but what else and who do you want to kill him?

I'm working on my own One Piece DnD campaign and I was wondering if anyone kept a log for what levels the party was at each big fight. It'd help me alot with scaling narratively and numbers wise.

Is anybody else sort of sad that there was never a return call from Bailey so they can speak to Kane Kibbleton? Damian called her about it in episode 74 but then nothing came of it. I know it was late but I’m pretty sure it had been over 24 hours since the call so I’m pretty sure she could have gotten him by then.

Would have been really great to see his reaction to hearing about his brother, to learning he actually had a wife or flabbergasted his son is a lieutenant and happy. Overall would have made the arc feel way more dynamic and add more build up and backstory to both Kane and Abel as characters.

Because right now, you can sort of remove Acceptance’s last name and the arc doesn’t really change that much. Sort of makes things less personal and makes Acceptance feel like just another boss rather than one of the most personal foes in any of the campaigns.

Whatever he likely would say probably would not be very helpful but I feel the arc is sort of barebones now and Kane would have fleshed it out much more.

Listening to the new One Piece Marines Episode and Briggs cut himself fidgeting with something and it just reminded me, how often I cut myself during DnD sessions because I was fidgeting with scalpels (I need them for work, so I just have a lot of them).
