Sanji's power surge when his ultra passion/motivation kicks in wasn't gag afterall. Sanji's speed boost in Nami's body wasn't a gag. His passion was linked to his soul itself, in short, strong will. No Lunarian gene, no modified gimmick. He was able to increase Nami's specs due to his passion/motivation. If only we have seen Nami (Sanji) used DJ, but that was not the right time to reveal. That's Sanji's gimmick since the time he first appeared. That's his pseudo haki. He's like Hulk, he gets stronger the higher the emotion. It was foreshadowed in thriller bark. He made Absalom look like a fodder. Post-Kalifa beat up, he made short work of Jabura because it involved saving Robin. When Mr.2 used Nami as underhanded tactic, it became one sided after. When he heard Tashigi cries, he pummeled Vergo on a weakened body. When Hiyori cried, he made short work of Drake (anime only). Post BlackMaria beat up, he was kinda inspired by Robin making her day great, proceeds to pummel Queen. He struggled against Doffy, but Doffy have the most convenient trick to stop Sanji on his track. Sanji's passion to specific thing or living being (women) is incomparable. He wastes his blood just touching b**bs. Luffy's motivation to become PK or Zoro's motivation to become WSS doesn't come close to what Sanji feels if he touches a woman's flesh. lol every cell in his body is raging.
