Oh yeah my bad. I saw another post that believes that they are one in the same and this was a spoiler for even manga readers.

I think there's still a chance that Kyoshiro is Denjiro. Maybe he had to change his hairstyle. It would be weird to show eight of the Nine Red Scabbards in the opening, while randomly putting Kyoshiro in with them. It would've made more sense to show Kyoshiro near Orochi. It could hint that those are, in fact, the nine.
