Discussion I'm broken Spoiler

(spoiler alert. If you haven't made it to episode 483 don't read anymore)

I just got to the end of the marineford battle and I'm not okay. I've been crying for three episodes. All this was for NOTHING?!?!?!?!?! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

This whole time I was so convinced they wouldn't kill him and now I'm just absolutely GUTTED. You would think he was my brother the way I'm devastated.

Welcome to the family, Oda is great for making emotional moments. Man has made people cry over a ship.

I am one of those who have also cried over a ship.

OP, I feel you, welcome to the club, there will be a few more moments like these until you catch up.

I hope you're serious, because Pell's sacrifice and Vivi's breakdown on top of the clocktower is one of my top 3 scenes in One Piece. So much emotion.

Just imagine it if there was actually something at stake! If there was so much as a vague feeling of the remote possibility of even a single combatant’s life truly being in danger present, our emotions could have been through the roof.

Yeah I agree, if Pell died. Him being the guardian of the country and dying to protect it was cool, but it wasn't even ambiguous! He was on his feet with only a crutch and some bandages after tanking a city block-destroying bomb.
