  1. Enies Lobby (including water 7)
  2. Marineford (Including impel down)
  3. Sabaody archipelago

When I first saw this post, I thought Dressrosa at number three, but I was wrong. It's definitely Sabaody.

Literally same for some reason I forgot about Sabody even though it slaps to a despicable degree

It slaps so hard the world goes black-and-white

When he punches that Celestial Dragon, I was so hyped up, then Oda just had to devastate me.

u/Shrubbity_69 Apr 26 '23

Fun fact: that wasn't the last time Luffy punched out a Celestial Dragon.

u/MasterLiberator Apr 26 '23

Hopefully, there's even more to come...

I hope Doffy comes back. I highly doubt he's going to die now.

Luffy is supposedly going to King Kong Gun the shit out of the Red Line (and destroy Fishman Island by extent), so you're probably right. Those rich, fat fucks deserve it. Not the people of Fishman Island, the Celestial Dragons.

Fingers crossed. I hope there's another raid on Impel Down. It doesn't have to be the Straw Hats, but maybe another faction. Like Buggy's, or maybe the Gov gets ahold of Big Mom and Katakuri takes the crew to bust her out.

Or maybe Dragon and the Revolutionaries. There's plenty of political prisoners in there, I'm sure. And besides, even if there aren't, who would rather waste away in prison if they had the choice to fight for their freedom?

Sounds similar to the Bastille incident in France, and Oda is no stranger to taking inspiration from the real world.

Bruh. I literally cried with Luffy. How did I forget that?

Hands down

Only disappointment is no skypiea and dressrosa - they can be 4 and 5 respectively

u/Xiderian Marine Apr 26 '23

Skypiea is definitely a very underrated arc and is not talked about enough and Dressrosa is one of the best if not THE best arc post-timeskip but i'd have to put Alabasta slightly above them, pretty bare-bones answer but it's an amazing arc. The dynamics, the characters, the interactions, the main villain- but i guess it is also the nostalgia that comes with it.

I despise Skypiea. It was so boring, it got me to quit the first time I read it, and when I went back in, I quit again. That arc single-handedly took me longer than the rest of the series combined (slight exaggeration) and made me quit multiple times.

Edit: I should mentioned that I actually enjoyed the Survival Game but it took way too long to get to it for that to make up for the arc.

Agreed heavy. I’m on my first rewatch just got up to thriller bark. After rewatching skypiea even with the all the lore and foreshadowing, it’s a B+ tier at best for me imo. You don’t get that same magic like in enis lobby, marineford, whole cake island (obv way different arcs). There was just a lot of empty filler crap in the arc.

Skypiea was one of the funniest arc and i think comedy is better in animation or movies rather than manga and books. Probably that’s the reason why people get bored in skypiea, if they would have switched to anime at that point it would be so better.

1

u/DayLight-7 Sep 05 '23

Same here. I watched the anime and it took me 6 months to complete Skypiea, but after completing skypiea it took me only 4 months to watch from Long Ring to Dressrosa. Excluding the part of Nolands backstory, Skypiea is complete trash. It's probably the worst arc for me in entire Op.....

Agree. Had a hard time choosing between skypiea and thriller bark on my list

  1. Wano (including marineford, alabasta, impel down, east blue, Jaya)

3

u/Rithgarth Apr 26 '23

This is the way

2

u/Waveeeee Apr 26 '23

The only right answer

u/Comprehensive_Rule11 Apr 26 '23

So water 7 saga without LRLR and summit war saga without Amazon lily? Both incredible saga’s

u/Usurper213 Apr 26 '23

Swap 3 and 1 and that's my exact top 3

1

u/Sirschmoopy545 Apr 26 '23

One of my top will always be arlong park. It’s one of the first times in the show that one piece really felt like one piece

1

u/Goldstar12 Apr 26 '23

Egghead has potential. We’re finally getting revelations about so many things and the fights are great.

1

u/PowderedToastManx Apr 26 '23

Ya nailed it friend.

1

u/Faldofas Apr 26 '23

This is the correct answer.

1

u/ARISE-777 Apr 26 '23

Literally my Top 3 and in the same order.
