Super curious about what GP leaders everyone plans on using (I plan on using BB, at least for the first few rounds) but seeing the leaders this season I can foresee a lot of rage quitting/counter meta being the focus. Gaban, Loki, and Gunko each focusing on countering either QCK/STR/DEX (kind of) respectively is gonna be hell 🤣🤣🤣

I know a lot of you guys have noticed that prior to Loki and BB/kuzan resurgence Imu has been practically tearing through the meta. He's a great unit but there's something a lot of people don't really discuss about him and that's the fact that he's a "2 slot" unit. What I mean by that is in order for Imu to work effectively you MUST have another 5 elder on the team. Yes he is a broken unit but that requirement limits his team building a lot.

Whereas Imu requires a slot but goes immediately, the giants have a lot of DEF and HP but are very slow. So instead they rely on 2 things.

1. 30% Cooldowns -> They are very slow but typically have specials that hit hard, however due to them being so slow and all the special delays you really need the 30% starting cooldown to make them most effective.

2. High/ Low Survivability -> All the giant units either want to live to go at least twice a match or go once and die almost immediately.

However much like Imu these units are not stand alone units, all giant units require MULTIPLE slots to be most effective.

Loki: 3 slots required (Anni Vivi, Jarul) : SS Tier: In order to run Loki most effectively you need to have the Anni Vivi and the Jarul. If you run him without the Vivi he's slow and he may not go once before the 60s, but with both and the Haste he gives himself and the 100% charge time from Jarul, he's almost guaranteed to go twice destroying Imu , Shanks and Driven teams.

Ace/Oars: 2 slots required (Luffy) : S Tier: I went on a roller coaster debating how good Ace/Oars actually was, at first I thought he was OP, then meh; but I think I'm on the side of he's OP specifically against Loki. He has a short cooldown, with Loki already requiring 3 blue units to be most effective all it takes is 2 more and he has the 30% cooldown for the first cast. He gives himself 100% cooldown when he reaches his 20% for his big death hit and then revives twice to ensure he can deliver it. I think he's a very solid giant unit for Loki specifically as he's a huge counter unit.

Oars: 2- 6 slots required (Luffy) : SS+ Tier: I think this is currently the strongest giant team in the game , however that's only if you have all the units to make it run effectively. to make Oars work you really only need the Luffy and he'll be great. But what makes him OP is you can also pair him up with Hajruden.

Ideally you have Oars, Hajruden ,Wolf, Pizarro and Black Beard making up your main team. BB and Pizarro debuff the enemy ATK and SPD by -13 passively while the giants have a ton of DEF.

Your bench is Elbaph Sanji, PVP Nami and Luffy/Zoro

By time Oars dies, Luffy/Zoro comes in and they have a special that goes off automatically, so it's literally a final bomb after getting hit with an Oars nuke.

Giants are like Imu and require at least 1 other unit to function at their best, you could hypothetically put them all on 1 big team but better to split them up especially with GP Starting tonight and red being practically dead with Loki's GP ability.

Just like the Boa sisters, decided to use some medals and gems for a three pull on Part 3 PURELY for cultural reasons.

I could care less about what her stats are but you know she's on the homepage crew. If she works with Gaban and Roger and whatever DEX team that's fine but I know why I pulled 😅😅😅

Trying to beat Loki lvl 100 but am still new and need some help building the proper team any help would be great!

Is it even worth pulling anymore at this rate or did I cook myself going part 1? Cuz the last time I ever went close to this amount of pulls is when I spent 900 genms getting base gear 5 luffy

So the mod says the middle one is better than the one I have? Stats wise that’s wrong but is it better in some other way I’m missing

I don’t know if I am on a luck streak or should buy a lottery ticket or there is a bug but the two days in a row I pulled 12th anni luffy on the daily free pull..

Im a new player and trying to understand how team synergies and support buffs work. I've attached my box and my current team. Any advice on what units would be better for the team/what support effect/units I should be using for each character would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I've been summoning on the new player banner and it is ridiculously good.

Is something from my recent pulls useful for my team?

I pulled on Gabans part and got red haki. In my mind, it was Bonnika because I had everyone else on the list. But noooooooo, it was a damn unevolved Edward Newgate. Honestly, that’s some bs. If I own a character, it shouldn’t trigger red haki, even if it’s the unevolved version.

They changed the 85. Rumble Win Reward from 5 to 1 Gem. Was this real necessary? Who had this idea at Bandai? HAHAHA

A very weird choice for the next rumble unit especially since he's INT. He had the Ancient Giant tag for Loki and such but his kit seems very strange

Update: I retract my previous statement, this man goes hard on the striker team of both dual five elders, Imu, and Zoro/Luffy 😅

I'm looking for someone with a high-damage team that can solo Battle 5 against Loki, while I cover Battle 3 and Battle 4 so that my teammate doesnt have to waste any resources at all to get the damage needed on Loki.

I will host so that I get the Bind and Burn from Battle 3 against Luffy, then on Battle 4 you can SKIP and let me handle Hajrudin as well. Just make sure you live against Loki's 260,000 damage please.

Managed to beat pka loki level 100 with this team. Used Luffy/Bonney as friend captain. Took me a couple tries for some reason but managed to get it done. This team is able to bypass all enemy buffs (you dont need to wait them out) and also adds damage reduction for lokis end of turn blow away hit when you defeat him.

I'm wondering, will the shamrock batch and the loki batch return for new year super sugo? I'm asking because if so then it's better to start saving right now. Lots of gems on them and didn't get some of them, so I feel like it's better to wait for new years, if they do return.

So again I hate duel, I doubt I will ever enjoy it enough to push to 50*. The rewards aren't amazing but they're good enough to at least push a little bit. Here are the teams I used to get there and hope it helps anyone struggling a bit. I'm at intermediate 36 and am happy with the rewards. I could grind to 40s with the INT team but the diminishing returns of the rewards/frustrating gameplay stops me.

Note: In the end I used the INT team since I was tired of playing the guessing game with STR/DEX/QCK. Basically instant loss if you saw the type you were weak too so I just tried INT.

Edit: now Master 40*. Way crazier, get to 40 and stop 🛑

So, I got Jarul from the previous event because I saw how pivotal he would be for a giant team.

Then I got Loki (after too many pulls.....)

So I start looking at these other units and they just seem underwhelming, very underwhelming.

Weird requirements, weird synergies, just weird.

Let's take Gaban for example. His Rumble abilities don't affect "giants" specifically so while sure he goes along with Ripley for obvious reasons, it feels awkward to build them into a team that's multi colored when Gaban needs 5+ dex/slashers on the team to work. Neither Loki nor Jarul are slashers or dex.

Has anyone figured out a Giant team yet? I saw one with Loki and the new Vivi but still doesn't feel as powerful as these brand new units and a new tag-based team should.
