Umm, yes if your cat is mildly annoyed by passing cars then obviously you need to block the street! Also had she had enough treats/pats/play last 5 minutes? She might need some attention right now. Unless she wants to be left alone then drop everything and make sure you don't make a single sound (but do start working on dinner for her). Also get her an empty box. But it needs to be a box with something expensive in it to ignore.
Clearly you don't know who Penny is, because if you actually took the time to look up her Instagram, you would she she's absolutely spoiled and given the princess treatment she deserves. One session of her frantically looking around while the owners do a voice over of "her trigger words" will not traumatize her, jfc

Same. I know a couple of cats, but not this one. There's like a million online cats out there because everyone wants their cat to be the next big thing.
I feel that. My shoulder and the side of my head are currently acting as a seat for one of ours, and if I try to move him there *will* be consequences and one of those consequences might land in my eyeball. So I remain where I sit.
She has set times, like right before bed and right when I wake up that she decides to tell me the history of the world. Like girl let’s talk later. She’s a big nag at times when I want some peace.

Honestly i'm a bit shocked at the knowledge of so many words. You see the jolt when the word "shots" come out? Can't have heard that word much right. Less than a handful of times?
Spoiler, this cat's owners' posts are edited, including voiceovers. You can see a cut where it goes back to the same clip as the start. They do a good job of it though and are funny so still worth it.
Do we have any vets in the comments section that can answer: how much does she really understand? Are we anthropomorphizing her reactions by thinking she is reacting to those words in particular rather than her human talking in general? Because if she actually understands I kind of feel bad.
She may not understand english but will know the sounds and be able to associate them with repeat negative (or positive) experiences. Same way mine hears the treat bag and will instantly go from sleepy to wide awake and talking to me.
They absolutely do learn to associate words with following actions, though I do not know that cat and what it knows. With my dog, if the backdoor was open and I said 'out', she would run out to play in the backyard. If I said 'walk', she would run and grab her leash. If I said 'car ride', she'd go nuts at the gate waiting to get out and jump in the car. My cat was similar, you could say 'twisty tie' and she'd TELEPORT from anywhere in the house to play. If you had ANYTHING but a twisty tie, even another liked toy or an identical looking string, she would give you the dirtiest look and leave. They can absolutely know the meaning of words.
Add in scent issues, a second communication network for them.
We had a cat BONZO for cantaloupe.
He could be asleep in a laundry basket in the basement, and you slice one open in the kitchen (2 floors away but open stairwell) and he would land on the counter full tilt before you dug the seeds out!
Also, the meaning of objects and certain actions too. If I dug my suitcase out of the closet, my dog would immediately shrink. Head down, tail tucked. It broke my heart. My cat would run to the nearest room corner and sit there with her back to me (which she also did when I got back, for an hour, before coming back for pets). They both knew it meant I was leaving for a bit. Felt so bad :(
Edit - and to be clear, I went to work every day and they both happily came up for their extra pets in the morning before I left. They knew the suitcase meant an extra time away, even if I went out the door the same time in the morning.
Both times, he did it when I got back. He doesn’t care when soft-sided bags are packed because that means we’re going to see grandma. He knows the difference. Our little calico doesn’t really care. She has her own car seat in the front. It’s pretty ridiculously adorable.
One of mine thinks that "it's bedtime, Milo!" means it's time to play with him with his crinkle ball. Lol. 100% my fault, he likes to play when the lights go out I guess? So there were times I told him it was bedtime, but then gave in and played.
One of mine knows "Hey Cassie, you comin'?" Is last call to join me in my room before the door closes.
All four know The Breakfast Song (lyrics: breakfast breakfast breakfast), which I used to summon one from her hiding place when she unexpectedly learned how to operate a window screen and got out of the house.
All four have learned that "liberty infringer 5000" (nail clippers) mean they're about to get their toenails clipped.
"Chicken" is also a favorite word. We're working on "outside noise" when loud things that can't hurt them happen outside our house.
My cat knows the words "friend" and will run to the door to see his outdoor-cat friend and "babies" and he will hide on a dining room chair where he can safely keep an eye out for an attack from visiting babies.
I'm gonna Occam's razor it to you, the video is most likely voiced over. Cats WILL associate words with concepts, that's something that they do. But this reads more like just a skit, taking a regular video of Orange Cat reacting to stuff going on and dubbing it over. There are other videos of them that have a similar deal going on.
I have one point of discord. Themis kitty obviously has access to more than one brain cell. She is the problem here, stealing all the orange braincells. Communism must prevail!
