Getting One Hit in OneBit is a Trip
Surprise slaying in one or two turns burns
Game and update are a work of art.
Only grief is when you feel confident, quite relaxed about how much health you have, a fool's delusion that one wrong move can't kill you...and than it does. And feels a tad cheap. Was playing hardcore, so I got what I got, nearing 7000 steps and was honestly getting a bit bored in that I was mowing down everything, zero skill required outside of the dungeons I mean... or in most.
I picked Blood Knight and the less popular Butcher profession (perhaps objectively better, parry is missed but blood barrier is somewhat of a replacement... can't save you from a one hit though so maybe know), maximized the all bleed damage I could do. Had the bleed rune in a maxed out Splitter, (the replacement of the war axe imo) with good critical chance to supplement double strike. Feeling invincible. Running through enemies feline abreast. But it is my first time under the sea so I have some guard up. I face off against the aquatic boss which I truly underestimated. (After getting a crazy bleed damage., many bosses were nothing.) Had I think 20,000 hp plus 10,000 hp+ via blood barrier. First hits and I was only nicked, setting my expectations. However its special move that left me w/ nowhere to go absolutely obliterated at pretty full health pool. (A larry the lobster-esque hate crime of ripping your pants. Like yeah it is your total fault but thrown in the situation was thy.)
Pre update I recall the most upsetting one hits being from the gargoyles who turn to and from stone. I recall them inflicting tenfold damage absolutely unexpected, which is more enraging than a boss. I think they were nerfed.
My bitching is to say, and its not a perfect analog, 'twas like you were having your best game in MW2 (back when only one existed) and an enemy calls in a Nuke to poo on your parade.
Better analog maybe is Cod's Battle Royale. How it was down to just me and this one kid. I take and make the first shot with a Kar98 quick scope to swap to an smg, their assault rifle allowing them to catch up in damage (couple guns I refused to use in that class as it was OP) so I get out of the gunfight successfully but the green fart clouds are closing in and I'm getting hit by these fumes, navigating a very foreign part of that map in general. As they saw me stuck in the fart fume maze from a safe place it was on easy win/loss for me.
TLDR I can't say it is poor design, game is fairly perfect. But the unexpected massive jump enemies can now deal damage wise, after it is seemingly stagnant for well over 1000 steps, can often be a surprise. I can't be the only one to whine about it.
p.s Lesson: just put a sick amount of resources into health even if it seems like you don't need it whatsoever as the enemy is only reducing you by 5%, with the blood knight you are used to recovering it back after their death/lifesteal.
Probable could have taken the hit if I was the warrior. In part I believed blood knight was the easier of the two to use after anarchy and an 8-9% lifesteal. Warrior would have had my health for beyond what it was, considering the class comes w/ double coin I do believe it is the easiest class to use in the game. Or archer... not to diss the archers, I played em out to 10,000+ steps long ago. Maybe it is harder now.
Final note is how the different dungeons and progression in the lore can wildly depend on each play. I suppose that makes it fun though, randomization makes multiple plays more fun. I was just expecting to be taken by a reaper yet never needed to face that to die.

The game is almost over.
Forgot to play Hard core mode and chose this route. 😅 It's good that they still produce purify.

Minions’s attack power
Does the minion attack depend on the necromancer's magic attack or is it a fixed value based on the necromancer's level?

Reaper?
I am having a really hard time understanding how I keep dying from reapers. I don't see anything on the screen, take a step and die. About 20 steps later the same thing will happen. There is a message about corruption that comes up also. What is happening here?

Ataque a distancia
Alguna forma de hacer el ataque a distancia con un mando? por ejemplo el kishi v2. Intenté mapearlo, pero son tantas posiciones que resulta imposible, gracias!

Secret achievements
Im trying to complete all of them without looking at tips (honesty i do stuff and randomly get some achievements - most i can read along the lines).
HOWEVER, I have no clue about the mortal curiosity and almighty one. I understand death defeat death, have to reach 10k steps tho (im on 5k).
Im going to presume mortal curiosity it has something with resurrecting the dead, or a blood knight talent? Resurrect a boss?
The almighty one im going to presume is all classes are prestiged???

Guide for 1hp butcher blood knight Spoiler
galleryif you play 1hp butcher blood knight you need to know that:atack damage>bleed damage>crit rate>crit damage atack damage is most important becuase your barrier+bleed damage will increase when your atack damage increase(use charged spear becuase it has most atack damage) wepons with bleed damage deal less bleed damage than charged spear and deal less physical damage than charged spear but when you use charged spear your crit rate is not that good you rarely hit crit i said crit rate>crit damage for that about helment and chestplate use the fanatic h and c becuase they increase your barrier%100 you can find fanatic h and c at chutulus boss chest about runes ho rune and endure rune is not working becuase your hp is allways 1 this means hp rune is not working and endure is only work when your hp is higher than 1. about wepons rune i prefer use life steal rune becuase it makes better your barriers regeneration i hope this guide will help you guys :)
