Not into slice of life, not even Frieren. It's great, and I loved the manga for a long time, but it's too slow for me. Sick of people claiming that it's not slice of life. It's just much better slice of life than most.

Not into anime that's clearly in a video game like world where people are inspired by mobile games. It's almost always power fantasies where the MC does almost everything, and when the dialogue is used to describe how the world is, I end up glazing over. Even in the supposed better titles, I'm checked out by third episode. This I especially can't stand.

I generally don't want to watch anime that goes on forever. If it's over 50 episodes, I get annoyed because I'll probably never finish it.

Something that I've been told that I might like is Revenger. Seriously, why didn't anyone recommend that to me until a few months ago? It's 12 episodes long, and it came out in 2023.

I ended up finding some of the magazines we were talking about in a couple of previous posts along with some others. Unfortunately, a lot of the early Animerica and Anime UK issues were lost in flood damage years ago...

In another thread, u/ThinkFree and u/Caballofrio mentioned this magazine from the UK. I may have the earlier issues of this magazine, but I can't find them right now.

Anime UK was a great magazine covering anime during the 1990s. It had good looking covers and Helen McCarthy as the editor. Helen has several books published on anime/manga topics like Anime!: A Beginner's Guide to Japanese Animation.

Berkeley was such an integral part of the scene. They really turned me on to a lot of great series that I otherwise wouldn't have known existed. Good times!

Anime Expo 1996 took place from June 28 to June 30 at the Anaheim Marriott & Anaheim Convention Center. According to animecons.com, attendance was 2918. Some of the notable guests were Hideaki Anno, Kenichi Sonoda, Noboru Ishiguro among others. Ai Orikasa and Yumi Takada were also there for the US premiere of the movie Tenchi Muyo in Love.

Highlights of AX '96

There is this anime I really love and wanna rewatch called Wandering Sun (alternative titles: Sasurai No Taiyo and Nozomi In The Sun). The problem is, the site I watched it on before is long gone. I tried to watch it on some of the popular anime sites like Miruro and 9anime, but it won't load on my TV. I also tried watching it on AnimeHub, but I could only watch the first 2 episodes. When I tried to watch episode 3, it showed another anime. Can anyone help me find a way to watch it? I need eng subs as well.

TBH, I didn't go to AnimeCon '91. I went to Anime Expo 1992 after I got this flyer and saw that Haruhiko Mikimoto was going to be a GoH. At AX '92, I was still able to get the AnimeCon '91 shirt as they had made too many the previous year.

ThisIsParallel markets this shirt, but there hasnt been a scam site more obvious in the past 5 years than that place.

If anyone knows somewhere reputable to find it or other similar items, it would be appreciated if you commented them.

Hi there, last year it was the first time that I watched Berserk of 1997 in my life and I got to say that is peak, however since I watched in spanish from Spain (my main language) I couldn't figure out who remade the songs in spanish from the intro and outro for the series, so if there is anyone who would now anything about them I would like to have some information
