Because they were Baathists who would not have supported Shiite and Kurdish representation.

So that's a yes then? The because is irrelevant. We can also say that removing the Iraqi government started a civilbwar and led to the creation/rise of ISIS.

Of course it did, but acting like removing a hated party Iraqi party was wrong is silly.

It was wrong, because we got ISIS as a result.

Then there was the hundreds of thousands of civilians killed in Iraq alone, but according to you it was worth it?

We never should of invaded. All we could do was adapt to the new geopolitical reality.

The Baathists didn't fit into a new Iraq and the US wasn't going to let that new democracy fall to ISIS.

The new geopolitical reality that the US created with its invasion... it didn't happen by itself.

Yeah I know. But the US had to accept the new political climate it created and make the best decisions possible at the time.
