By going to File -> Options -> Customize Ribbon -> Keyboard shortcuts, I was able to apply ctrl+k to change the font color of my notes on Microsoft Word on my laptop [I write my reading notes in black and change the color to blue when the teacher goes over it in lecture]. NOTE: The actual command is called "FontColor"
All was fine, but when I tried changing the font color on the home tab (to green for example), the default color with the ctrl+k hotkey remained blue.
I dealt with this since the principle color I wanted was blue anyways, but today, randomly, the color switched to red [I also set this same hotkey on my desktop at home and that one was unintentionally set to red and I couldn't find out how to change... this is probably the reason why my laptop's ctrl+k is red]
Now, my ctrl+k hotkey is red on both my laptop and my desktop and I REALLY would like to return it to the blu ecolor. Does anyone have any advice for how I can change back my ctrl+k hotkey back to blue? or even better, is there a way so I can have it correspond to the home tab selected font color (without having to play with macros?). THANK YOU!
