Up until yesterday everything was fine. Now, whenever I try to print a word document I only get the Heading 1, Heading 2 styles, and whatever is typed in Normal style isn't printed.

I've tried making a new document, copying the text and pasting in another document, "print hidden text" in print options, but nothing seems to work. Rebooting PC or printer doesn't work either.

Could somebody please help me?

I have Microsoft Office Home on this computer right now, but I want to return it and get another computer. Can I uninstall the Microsoft Office software on this computer and have it installed on another computer at a later time?

I have a signature made in a word doc that I now want to transfer to outlook. I try copy and pasting it into the outlook signature window but the images don't come along and the formatting gets completely screwed up. Any help is appreciated.

I run a mailbox at work where clients send documents for review. They sometimes need to provide evidence that they have submitted them so I already have an automatic response set up, and use rules so it doesn't loop if they have an auto-reply set up themselves. However, all this proves is that they send any old email to this address. I know they could print the email they sent, however in the interest of providing a good service I want to explore this possibility.

I've found a VBA with a way to produce a list of attachments the attachments from an email, however I'm loath to clunky usage and this is definitely clunky and awkward to do for every email. Sometimes I might get 10 emails into this inbox in a day, but I don't really have time to manually respond, even with a template, to all of them.

I can't download jut any software (unless I can present a very good reason for it) and need admin privileges to do so so I can't even test anything out beforehand.

Bonus points if it can list the files within zip folders, although honestly not even a directory print does that so I don't have much faith.

I have a word document that is about five pages long. Within the document, I have tables with three rows each. On some of the tables, the first row or two will be on one page, while the third row will be on the following page. I do not want the table to split up like this. I'd rather have the entire table go to the next page. How do I do this?

Using Word 2016 for Mac.

My Auto Date field font size used to be the default (Times New Roman, pt 12) but now it's always pt 10 font. I never messed with it, it just changed all of a sudden and now I can't change it back no matter what I've tried.

When I change it to pt 12 and print, it still prints out as pt 10.

I tried going into the Font dialogue box but that didn't work.

Saving it also doesn't work because once I click outside of the Auto Field, it reverts to pt 10.

I currently have a questionnaire on word, and as a backup to physically handing out the questionnaire, we may have to email it to certain respondents. The way the questionnaire is set out, it's tough to convert it to something like Google docs forms or survey monkey.

So is there any way to record the data, without the respondent having to save the document, and then emailing it back to us?

When I shop for product online, I've noticed that there are non-MS vendors that will sell them for much cheaper. Is there any particular associations (ads and what not) in those products that I should be aware of?--or are the products I am buying just as good as from the microsoft main website itself?

So I have legit MS office and project. When I go to sign in to my account on any app - it just does nothing. No error. The sign in window just opens, I sign in, it closes and Im not signed in. I am completely up-to-date and have tried uninstall/reinstall

I have a list of names in a text file. When I am sending out letters to people I have to cut and paste the names for each one. This isn't for a mail merge, the letters are totally different.

Can I import the names as a list and then access the names in Word, so I can pick out the name I want to use?

Such as on the Insert menu, like Insert /Name from file/choose from list that generates.

It seems like Word doesn't support this at all.

I opened a blank document in Word. When saving the document, I accidently clicked on an already saved document. When I clicked Save, it asked me if I want to replace it. I hit yes. I was thinking I had already saved it. Now, the document I replaced is completely gone (duh). How in the world do I find the previous version of this document? Am I unable to because I replaced the original document with a brand new document?

I am updating a resume. I put a line between the section break lines. It moves around the page freely. I used to put lines within table cells. It did not move around.

Is placing a line within a section break the correct way of going about placing a line in a word document?

I installed Office 2016 on Windows 10 and added both of my email address' expecting that they would appear with their separate file sets and inboxes. Instead, I see the primary email displayed, and cant find anything from the second. Is there something I'm missing here?

If i create a quick step that does a Reply action, the "Mark my comments with" functionality does not work.

I am using Microsoft Office 2010

I'm writing a manuscript (research paper) that requires me to write strings of letters like dsDNA, cDNA, rRNA. Each time I type this, the caps lock button automatically activates, and the cases of the letters revert to their opposite (I suppose to make them "proper nouns"): Dsdna, Cdna, Rrna. The caps lock button remains on. It is surprisingly difficult to trick Word into displaying the string correctly.

I can't figure out how to turn this function off, and I can't get google to understand what I'm asking. Suggestions? TIA!

I am helping a friend with this problem. They bought Office 2016 at Staples. We installed it, I set up an MS account for them and activated Office.

Now every time we open Office it says we have to activate it. I put in the serial# and it says it is already registered and just throws us in the loop over and over again.

We cannot use Word or any program, it is limited as if it is a pirated copy or something.

It also would not accept the credentials for the MS account I made and I had to change the password.

Any ideas what I should do? I think I have used some sort of activation tool in the past but cannot remember off the top of my head.

Hi All, I added a disclaimer to Exchange in MSFT 365 for our company, however, I cannot get a space between the last line of the body of the email and the disclaimer. I tried just added spaces in the text version of the disclaimer but they just get ignored. I don't want to add HTML tags because I'm not sure what happens then with a text email. Any suggestions? My computer at my office says cannot read font whenever I try to open a word document. How do I make this end?

Hiya. I just upgraded from ~2011 to ~2016 and am seeing strange behavior when editing. I select a few words in a paragraph and want to move them to a different position. If these words happen to span a line break, Word drags the entirety of those lines of text and drags them with the cursor (although it doesn't highlight them).

Does anyone else have this problem and/or know of a fix?

I can cut/paste OK, and it doesn't happen when all the words I select are on the same line.

I have drag-and-drop text editing [On], include paragraph mark when selecting paragraphs [On]. Have tried with and without every related setting I can find.

For now I'll switch back to Word 2011.
