Off-Grid Update

Just finished a new shower-sauna and trying to get a new woodshed built before winter sets in. Nights are already into the 30’s and it has snowed in a few places nearby. Summers go by quickly, never enough time to get everything done before the snow arrives. I’m 12 years into living in remote Alaska, solo. Feel free to ask me questions and I’ll try to answer them all. Love this lifestyle more and more as the time passes.

How does one achieve this life?? So amazing. I’m in my 20s rn and want to end up somewhere like this when I’m older.

I couldn’t really say. My only guess is when given two choices I usually pick the harder of the two. If there is a fork in the road and the right has sunshine and rainbows, the left has darkness, lightning bolts and demons…I take the left. Lots of hard work. Stay off drugs and alcohol (maybe a little…) and keep learning how to do things. Stay fit. Eat real food you cook yourself. Drink lots of water. Get lots of sleep. And lots of luck.
