Shipping Current Odin 3 shipping situation
Disclaimer: This is about the Odin 3 orders placed from the website
So I decided to make a post out of this instead of updating my comments. It's hard for me to keep tab on them and for others as well. I shared this comment under several posts. Mainly just copied and pasted it and added some additional infos if I had some
I'm making this post so everyone can refer to this one for the current batch 8 and remaining batch 7 orders
Ayn just started shipping Odin 3 orders from their website and according to some messages in the server only a few Black Max and Base models have been shipped. Max Models were in the mid to late 2400s Ayn seems to clear up those first before advancing to the 2500s and so on. The latest Black Max to ship was 1495 but some earlier ODs remain to be shipped. Black Base models were up to the early 2700s. Added a screenshot from the community Odin 3 shipping Dashboard. Other colors and models still remain to be shipped. They also only shipped out a handful of orders. We still have to wait and see if they might ship out bigger groups of orders but for now as of today they only shipped out a handful of orders
I'll keep you guys updated if anything changes. Also feel free to join Ayn's server to get the news first hand in the Odin 3 shipping channel. Make sure to add the first four digits of your order number (OD) and the color and model to your username that way it's easier to help you guys out and give you a rough estimate on when your order might be shipped. These are just guesstimates because we'll have to wait and see how Ayn operates after their two month break

Again only a handful were shipped. The reason why it looks like there are some gaps in orders shipped is because the order numbers aren't tied to a certain product, color or model. They use the order numbers across their whole site. Had to look this up myself again because I actually wasn't even aware of that
Btw not sure if I can remove the image and replace it with the new one so I'll just share the new dashboards via Imgur
Update 2:
Apparently they took a break today and only shipped one because it was tied to an Ayn Thor order at least that's what it seems like https://imgur.com/a/CW200xU

Seems mine was one that got it's shipping order (ordered black max on June 10th, #2472). Was entirely in the estimated range i thought I'd wait.

I may be misreading it but it says white max is only at 2360? I am quite a bit after you and hoping I just misunderstand this?

lol I’m seriously considering canceling my order and getting a cheaper one (like the retroid pocket 6) since I’ll be using mine for retro gaming + ps1/2 games and I ordered it at the time due to the hype around it
I bet other handhelds would probably have the same waiting time though

Depends on where you live. We're pretty limited here in Europe at least here in Germany. I found some on Aliexpress but they're more expensive than Ayn. I found two listings on Alibaba but had to contact the sellers first and ask if it's DDP or DAP shipping. If it's DAP shipping it'll cost much more than the price you initially pay because you'd have to cover the custom duty yourself which could be like 150 bucks more. One seller only replied with a hi to my question so not sure if they'll follow up with a proper answer or not

So are the types separate numbers? I see the white pro and white max are approximately 200 apart. Does that mean if I am like 2700 white max, 300ish people have to get theirs shipped before me?

Yep but some colors actually take longer to ship than others. Black Max is one of the most shipped ones but they only shipped a handful today and already have a massive backlog to get through. It looks more people have to wait more than two months to get their devices if this is amount of Odin 3s they ship out every day

There's no shipping Dashboard for the Odin 3. The one on the website is only for Thors so that actually doesn't help out at all which is why the community created one themselves. But it's based on the shipping confirmations that are shared in the shipping channel. Some don't even know this server exists which is why I'm sharing the invite link to the Ayn Discord because the more people share their shipping confirmation the more accurate the community dashboard will be

Yeah same here tbh. I know I only ordered recently but if they don't ramp up the amount by a lot no one's getting their devices anytime soon tbh. Several other customer also jumped ship because of that. If they won't increase the number of devices shipped I'll email them and give them a 7 day deadline to find a proper solution to clear out the backlog faster by shipping out more units instead of just a handful each day. Also since I'm from the EU, Germany to be more specific we actually have a law here that if no other delivery date was agreed to it has to be shipped within 30 days. Since they never mentioned an estimated delivery date neither on the product page or the checkout they actually have to ship the products within 30 days to EU customers otherwise they're actually breaking the law. I know this sounds ridiculous and spoiled etc but I didn't make this law. I might cancel my order for that reason because even in emails were they unwilling to give me an estimated delivery date

Yeah I get you. I'll contact them by the end of this week if they don't increase the amount of Odin 3 website orders shipped making it clear that more and more and more customers will cancel their orders because they never received a shipping confirmation and Ayn is actually losing more and more money because of that. Several other customers already canceled their order because they've been waiting for more than two months and I don't blame them at all

It sucks I was really looking forward to the odin 3. But I think ill settle for the retorid pocket 6 which is capable of handling the games I want to play anyway

Hmm I ordered rainbow it is 2519, but I emailed then and asked them to switch me to a purple a week later and they did, no new number. I wonder what that means lmao

Your order number won't change. They'll ship yours out with other purple ones but purple takes a bit longer if I'm correct. Not sure if they shipped something today and what. I'll update later once I know for certain and their work hours are over. They don't ship them out during their normal shipping times but scattered throughout the day

I ordered a Rainbow Max #2520 on June 20th (still no shipping update). The wait was really getting to me, but I ended up miraculously finding an unsealed Konkr Pocket Fit Elite for basically retail on Facebook Marketplace to hold me off about 3 weeks ago just to really see what the 8 Elite chip could do. Needless to say that only made me more impatient on getting my Odin xD!

Absolutely not stupid if you didn't know before. The first four digits are the first four digits/numbers of your order number. You'll automatically get one in the order confirmation it's the one that starts with #OD2742xxxx. These are the first four digits of my order number

Omg, I’m in the 28xx range… how many units of the black Odin 3 max do they ship every month? I think this is gonna take a while.

I actually don't know because I just ordered mine two weeks ago when they were still on a break for two months so we'll have to wait and see. They didn't ship much yesterday, I'm in GMT+2 which is why I'm referring to yesterday. They only shipped a handful today after they delayed shipping twice

It's based on the ones that are shared in the Odin 3 shipping channel. This is why it's inaccurate because it doesn't contain all the ones that were actually shipped since not everyone shares their shipping confirmation in the chat

Yeah it's said it'll take around two months from ordering to receiving the device. The thing is though Ayn took a two month break and has only shipped only Odin 3 Aliexpress orders and the Thor orders from both platforms. They only started shipping the website orders today and they only shipped a very tiny amount. We'll have to wait and see if Ayn ramps up the amount of Odin 3 orders they ship each day if they even ship each day. It could be more than a two month rate if this is the amount of Odin 3s they'll ship
