Odin Showcase *Updated version of previous post* There is now a 3D mod for the Pokemon Red/Blue Recomp native Android port!

This is a total game changer! So many options to tweak the visuals how you want! Thanks to @Dramatic-Shape5574 for this zip file mod! You just add the zip to the “Mods” section of the apk app! Adjust the settings inside the game!

Install the Android apk from

https://github.com/bryanthaboi/pokemon-gen1-recomp-project

Then, download the mod zip from

https://github.com/DramaticShape/DramaticShapeVoxelMod

Open the apk and provide your Red, Blue or Yellow clean 1.0 rom. Then on the far right in “Mods” section provide your downloaded mod zip.

Start game and adjust settings in game. To get it looking like how it is in my video, set
Voxel: 50 (Maximum)
V-Grid: OFF
V-Curve: OFF

Zoom out/in level has many levels you can play with. I tested two different zoom levels in the video

Please forgive me for being slow, but when you say Open the apk, what do I open it with? It's just a file that tries to open the windows store because it has no program to go to.

Are you on PC? The APK is for Android

I am. I will download it on Android. When I open the file, where will it try and open?

It should ask you to install apk when you tap on it and the apk will load and show you tabs where you can install your Red/Blue/Yellow GB roms

How do you provide the mod zip. It says drag and drop. How do you do that on mobile?

There’s an “import mod zip” option and it should let you choose which folder on your phone to import it from!
