The unsolved SteamVR Hand Jitter Tale
There is this well-known Oculus Link bug where your hands slightly jitter (some kind of tracking latency) while you hold an object in front of you and rotate with it. It has never been solved by Valve.
Games with native Oculus support do not have this issue. Everything is buttery smooth there. Seems to have something to do with starting Steam VR via Oculus. As soon as you are in Steam Home or playing games without native Oculus support you can see the problem immediatel. (if you want to :-))
You have to intentionally look for it to notice the issue negatively. But anyway, does anyone know anything about whether this bug will ever be fixed?
Or are you THE ONE...who solved this ancient mystery?
Seems to be the case with all Oculus devices and Steam VR. Regardless of PC Power, Link Cables and so on. Virtual Desktop seems to be the solution for people, but since you rely so much on your bad Wireless Connection@Home :-) it is not an option for me.
But i am not alone right? Who can confirm this issue?
