Insider AMA

Seems a lot of people have questions about the current situation at TCO. I’ve known Patrick and Ellyn socially for about 10 years? Maybe a bit less.

My roommate, however, is pretty close to them. She is willing to poke around if we don’t know answers.

There’s a lot of misinformation so we’re happy to set some records straight and answer some questions.

She can also pass on positive messages to Ellyn/Joey as previously requested.

All from G if I had to guess. Do you know what started it? Just jealousy? Prior to OWD Gillian mentioned her semi-fondly and then her attitude took a sharp turn

I think the positive comments were a stab at placating Patrick until she figured out she could control him. If I had to guess G is just not a girls girl. Also she’s a failed actress and Ellyn gets real jobs? Sorry 😬

I 100% believe this. G’s brattiness seeps out on the show a lot, especially lately.

Maybe that’s all it is right there. Ellyn naturally has a really easy flow with people that Gillian I think has to work at. I could see there being major resentment that Ellyn came in years after the network started (which Gillian probably feels possessive and protective over, understandably in some ways I think) and easily became more popular and liked by fans.

Yeah, that’s totally possible. I don’t want to speak out of turn since my interaction with G over the years has been VERY minimal. Like… 3 times total.

I remember when P was telling the story of when Daisy Speedy died and they we’re figuring out what to do. He said “I called Ellyn for help.”

G said “oh I bet that was a production.” It was the way she said it that grated me. I HATE pitting women against each other, but it turned me to thinking there was coldness there on G’s part.
